Jaehyun's POV

A simply hey is where it all started. Well, not that simple. I met y/n online, many are against it. But we've called and even video called a few times. I know her for almost 2 years and still we haven't met yet. Simply because our schedules never match with each other. She texted me if we could call, of course I agreed to that. "Hey cutie." It's my nickname for her, and I'm not lying, y/n is very cute. "Hey softie." She gave me many nicknames. But this one she only uses to tease me with. "One time I cried with a movie and you still call me softie. But what's up shorty, why did you want to call?"

"This Friday I have nothing to do, are you free?" She asks. "Friday? Uh let me see. I got time at 8." I tell her. "Can we meet somewhere? I'd love to finally meet you after so long!" I nod in excitement. "That sounds so great! I already can't wait to meet!" We both were smiling like crazy. "It's up to you, I let you decide where. Just text me the details." I thought for a bit, where is a good place to meet y/n? "I think I know some good place, I'll text it later."

Friday was still so far away, it's only Monday. After the call I laid down on my bed arms spread and a big smile on my face. It might sound crazy or stupid but I like her. We texted and called so many times that it's almost like we know each other since childhood. Just thinking about y/n makes me smile already. "Are you okay?" Jungwoo asks when walking in the room. "I'm more than okay!" I tell him. "You look extremely happy, tell me." He sits down on the chair waiting for me to answer. "I'm meeting y/n Friday!"

Jungwoo is very supportive about this, I tell him a lot about how me and y/n are doing and how I feel about her. "That's amazing! You still like her that much?" I nod in response. "You have to see her recent Instagram post, look how cute." I showed him the picture. "Aw, that's indeed cute. It's so exciting that you 2 finally could find the time to meet."

Y/N's POV

"You never believe what just happened!" I said overly happy and excited. "What is it?" My friend asks. "I'm meeting Jaehyun this Friday!" I don't think my smile could get any bigger. "That's great for you, just be careful okay?" I nod. "Of course, but it's not that I've never talked with him before. I know Jae, he's very kind and sweet."

"I'm meeting him in 3 hours, can you maybe help me choosing what to wear?" My friend nods and follows to my room. Different outfits spread over my bed. "He calls you cutie right?" I shyly nod. "Then go for this outfit, that fits the nickname. Can I do your hair too?" She asks excited. "I was going to ask anyway, of course you can!" I first took a quick shower and got dressed. "And, you know what you're going to say when you see him for the first time?" My friend asks. "I haven't thought about that. What should I say?" I asked. "I don't know, what do you 2 usually talk about?"

Jaehyun's POV

"Are you going to help me?" I asked Johnny. "With what?" He simply asks. "Pick my outfit. I'm meeting y/n, I'm kind of nervous. I don't want to do or say something stupid." I take a deep sigh. I never thought I'd be this nervous, I call with her almost every day. There's nothing to be nervous about. "Just wear something you feel good in. Don't stress too much, you know her for so long. What could go wrong?" I asked myself the same question for so many times, every time a different scenario crossing my mind where I somehow manage to mess it up.

I sat at a table in the restaurant, waiting for y/n. She could be here any minute. My eyes fixed on the door. Where are you cutie? I did send her the right place, right? It's still early, she isn't late yet. And on cue y/n walks in. She looks so pretty. When she sees me she walks to the table I was at. I get up and hug her. "It's so nice finally meeting you!" I tell her. "I'm so happy to see you!" She says. "I hope this place is good for you. It's one of my favourites." She smiles. "It looks amazing here, bet the food here is just as good."

We talked, we laughed, we ate and we drank a bit. It was fun, totally not awkward and I still haven't messed up. Let's keep it that way. "I haven't said it yet but you look so pretty tonight." I compliment her. "Thanks, you also look great as always. I really can't compare with you." She laughs. "What do you mean? You're really better looking than I am. Believe me, and you're also very smart and fun. You never fail to make me smile." Seeing her being shy makes her even cuter than normal.

"Shut it, you're making me blush too much." I smile, knowing exactly what I'm doing. "Are you shy from my compliments? Aw that's cute!" Her face getting even more red. "I mean it stop!" She gives a little hit on my shoulder. "You want me to stop? I don't think I can." I smile having fun with this. "What do you want me to do so you'd stop?" She asks. "I don't know, maybe uh...a kiss? Just a little one." She looks me in the eyes. "Look, I really like you. If you don't feel the same I understand and I'm sorry. You don't have to kiss me, that was a joke." But she did anyway, our soft lips touched each other. "I like you too, softie." She smiles.
