Y/N's POV

I called Jeno hoping he'd be awake already. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I yelled through the phone. "THANK YOU!" He yells back. "You're the first one to call or text me." I was surprised by his words. "What about the boys?" I asked. "Nothing. All they told me was to make breakfast for them, so that's what I'm doing." He tells. "Stop cooking for the others! They should be cooking for you. Get ready, I'm taking you out for breakfast." I say before ending the call.

"Hey birthday boy!" I hug Jeno when I see him walking out the apartment building. "Hey, thanks again." He shows his eye smile. "You didn't finish their breakfast, did you?" Jeno shook his head. "Nope, but I do feel guilty about it." He tells me. "Don't be. They shouldn't let you make their food on your birthday." We get into my car and I started our ride to this great place that makes the best breakfast.

We walk in and sit at an empty table. "I've never been here." Jeno comments. "That's sad because this is the best place for breakfast, and lunch, and dinner." I tell him. "Good morning, what can I get the 2 of you?" The guy asks us. "Twice the breakfast menu." I tell him. "And to drink?" I look at Jeno. "Uh, y/n what are you getting?" He asks me quickly. "A green tea for me." I smile. "For me too." I looked confused at Jeno.

"Since when do you drink green tea?" I asked. "Since today." He says proudly. "You could've chosen something you want." I tell him but he shook his head. "I want green tea." He smiles. "Okay, but tell me how did no one wish you a happy birthday yet?" I asked. "I don't know. Maybe they forgot." He says with a small pout. "No one forgets Lee Jeno's birthday!" He chuckles at my reaction. "Maybe they're playing with you." He shook his head. "I don't think they'd do that. Or maybe they would."

"They're calling me. What should I do?" He shows me his phone. "Play the same game with them, don't mention your birthday." I explain. "Hey Renjun." He says. "Where I am? Y/n took me out for breakfast." I'm just enjoying this drinking my tea. "You guys can cook for yourselves. You're old enough." He looks at me with the biggest smile. "Why do I have to be home so early? Don't act suspicious, just tell me why?" He removed the phone from his ear with confusion.

"He just ended the call not answering. Maybe they really forgot and is it something important why I need to get home early." His face saddens. "Don't be sad, should I call him?" Jeno shook his head. "But at least smile you're the birthday boy. I'm taking you shopping for today and if you really like something just tell me and I'll buy it for you. See it as a present." He furrows. "You didn't got me one yet? You always buy something weeks before someone's birthday."

"Oh look at that jacket. What do you think?" Jeno asks. "It's pretty, try it on." I tell him. "I don't think it fits. Is there a bigger size?" I look but shook my head. "I'm sorry, maybe in another store." He looks around first before we walk out to the next one. "Hey Jeno, look! It's very similar to that jacket from earlier." I show him. "But it's double the price, I can't let you pay so much for my birthday present. Let's go somewhere else."

"Oh, look at this plushie. Y/n I want this!" He points at the bear before pulling me into the store. "Are you sure you want this for your birthday? Nothing else?" I asked once again to be sure. "Nothing else, only this!" He smiles. I pay for the big bear and give it to Jeno. "Thank you so much!" He hugs me tight. "Everything for the birthday boy." I hug back. "How long before you have to be home?" I asked. "We still have 2 hours."

"Good idea to get drinks and eat some cake." He says happy. "Cake is always a good idea." I tell. "You're right! Definitely for this one, mmh so delicious. Do you want some?" Before I could answer he already fed me the cake. "Oh wow, it's really good! Now I know where to come when I'm craving for some good cake." I chuckle. "Take me with you if you come again."
