Y/N's POV

"Oh look at all these cute little puppies!" I dragged Hendery with me to look at each one of them. "They also have bunnies." I couldn't get softer, I love animals! "Sad that we already have a cat at the dorm, we can't get a new one." Hendery said. "Excuse me? At your dorm. It's not my pet and not my house, so I can get one if I want to." He shook his head. "Please no." He squeezed my hand lightly. "Why not?" I asked. "I'm allergic to bunnies." I've never heard him say that before. But I just believe him, who'd lie about that? "Okay fine, let's get going." We walked out of the shop. My heart breaking a little that I have to leave all these cuties behind.

"Practice will be a little later. I'm sorry. You don't have to wait for me, just eat already." Hendery called me to say he won't be home soon. "Fine, but I'll stay awake for you!" There was only one reason for that. "Okay, I see you at home. Bye bye, love you!" My heart still skips a beat every time he says he loves me, even after more than 2 years. "Now we have to wait for your dad to come home." I talked to the new pet I bought today. I secretly did it because Hendery would always come with an excuse why not to buy a new pet. But these boring fish don't do a thing, I needed more company.

"Hendery can be home at any time now. Are you excited to meet your daddy?" I always talk to my pets, ever since I was a little kid. I hear the front door opening. The dog runs to Hendery. "What? Who's this?" He asked surprised. "She doesn't have a name yet but it's our new baby!" I told him with a big smile. "You bought a Samoyed without telling me? It's so fluffy!" Hendery sits down next to the dog and pets her. "Can we keep her?" I asked. "Of course, she's now part of our family." He always told me not to buy a new pet but here he is loving our new dog.

"We need to give her a name." Hendery said thinking about one. "Don't you have to eat first?" He shook his head. "First a name." We both thought about it. We said some names but it was never perfect enough. "Cleo? She looks like a Cleo." I said. "Cleo? How do you like that name? Cleo." Hendery keeps saying the name to the dog. "Cleo will be her new name!" He said happy. "We should go on a walk." He already got up but I stopped him. "You're going to eat first. And it's already late, we'll go tomorrow."

Hendery's POV

I was sleeping until something jumped on me. I opened 1 eye and saw Cleo. "How did you get here? Never mind, just sleep with us for a little while longer. It's still so early." It definitely didn't work, Cleo was right next to my face and started licking my nose. "Okay fine, I'm awake. What do you want?" She turns around a few times and sits. "I don't know what you mean with that. I'm first going to the bathroom, can I?" I never thought I'd be talking to a dog like this. It's crazy but cute.

Everywhere I went Cleo followed me. "You want food?" She starts jumping. "Where did y/n put the dog food? Maybe here?" I looked in some cabinets until I found it. I filled the bowl and placed it back where it stood before. "You can eat that, don't look at me like that. You're not getting my toast. But you're so sweet, here take a piece but don't tell mommy." I ate the rest of my breakfast. "You're up early." I hear y/n's voice. "You're up late." I joked. "Did Cleo eat?" I nod. "And so did I. Now we can go for a walk." Y/n pouts. "Can't you wait until I finished breakfast?"

The 3 of us were walking in the park. "Don't let her walk into the mud, she'll need a bath." Even before y/n could finish it was already too late. "Oops, but then we can wash her. That'll be fun!" I said excited. "You wish, not all dogs like water and showers." She told me. "We don't know about Cleo yet." I said. "Just prepare yourself already." Y/n warns me. "It can't be that bad. Right?" She just laughs making me scared.
