Ten's POV

I was practicing for some dance on my own. I was too concentrated to pay attention to anything else. "Ten! Your phone's ringing." YangYang says. "Let me finish dancing first, I'll call back later." I hate stopping in the middle of a dance. "The person is calling again, from one or other y/n. Who's that?" I stopped and quickly got my phone. Ignoring YangYang's question I pick up. "Hey y/n! How are you?" I asked but she doesn't sound happy. "Are you crying?" I asked worried.

"Can I come and stay for a while?" She asks through the sobs. "Of course! But what happened? I'm worried. Is it your boyfriend again?" I hate him, ever since day 1. I know he wasn't a good guy, he never treated her right. But after all y/n stayed with him. "I'll tell you later. Can you maybe pick me up at the apartment?" This must be very serious. "Yeah sure, I'm on my way." I take my keys and bag. "Bye guys!" I quickly said before running out. I know y/n for a long time, I'd do anything for her!

I see her standing just outside of the apartment building. I got out of the car and opened my arms for a hug. "Come here. Please don't cry." She hugs me back, crying even more. "He made a big mess. We got into a huge fight. I don't think this will last any longer." I feel so sorry for her but some part of me is happy. Finally they'll break up. No more drama, only happiness from now on. "Let's go now, you can stay as long you want." We get in the car and drove to the dorm.

"I know it's not the same as your place. But I want you to feel comfortable here." She sits down on the couch. "Don't worry, everything is better than my apartment now." She said. "I'm so sorry for you. I have an idea! What if we just watch some series and order some food, just have fun you know." She smiles. "I guess that's a yes?" She nods happily. "Great, here choose something to watch. I'll order food." We both sat next to each other on the couch. I hope this will cheer her up.

"Let's watch this!" I look on the screen, it's some kdrama. Something she really enjoys watching. "The food will be here in 20 minutes. Let's make it a little more comfortable then we can start watching." I got up to get some extra blankets and pillows. When I came back I saw her focused on her phone. "What are you looking at?" I asked curious. She shows me a picture of her boyfriend, more like ex boyfriend. It was him with another girl. "Guess it's really over."

"Don't cry for some stupid ass like him! You deserve way better! And look at that girl she isn't as beautiful as you are, she's probably not so smart as well. I mean you gotta be dumb to fall for someone like him." Y/n chuckles but stops. "Hey, I'm not dumb!" She hits my shoulder. "Sometimes you are, sorry not sorry." At least we could still joke like we always do. It's not some sad night with a lot of tears.

"But do you mean it?" She asks. "What? That you're dumb?" She shook her head. "That I'm beautiful?" I nod. I never feel shy or insecure around y/n, but now she got me blushing. "Oh you do mean it. Look at your red face!" She teased me. "Shut up and just play the drama." I look away from her, not making eye contact anymore. Not long after the doorbell rang, food! I got up to open the door and pay. "What did you actually order?" She asks. "Japanese food. Your favourite, you see how much I care about you to remember that."

"No, don't you dare kiss him!" Y/n says at the television screen. "They don't hear you." I joked. "Shut it. See, she just kissed him! How stupid, the other guy is way better for her." It's funny how deep she can get into it. She's living with the characters. "I'm getting some more drinks, you want something?" She shook her head. "No thanks, I still have some." I left to the kitchen to get some water. But at that moment I hear the front door. The guys are home.

"Kun! Hi, you're back." He looks at y/n then back at me. I didn't tell them about her so I understand the confusion written on his face. We go to the kitchen to talk. "Look she's my best friend and she just broke up with her ex, I said she could stay here for a bit. Please say it's okay, she's very nice and neat. No trouble with y/n." He nods. "She can stay but next time let me know before I walk into some girl watching a drama in our living room."

"I think someone's tired." Xiaojun said. I look at y/n, she fell asleep. I carefully place her head on my shoulder and wrap my arms around her for more comfort. "Now tell us, do you like her?" Hendery asks. "Uh, never really thought about it. But she just broke up, so I'm not going to start about it." They shook their heads. "What?" I asked. "You should go for her man." Lucas said. "No, it's too soon." I tell him. "But do you give in that you like her?" Winwin asks. "Maybe. Yes? I don't know. Do I? I mean. Yes."

"You like me?" Y/n got up. "You were asleep!" We were all surprised that she was awake again. "Not really. But you like me?" She asks again. "Uh, yes I do. I'm sorry." I apologise. I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship. "Don't be sorry. I just broke up, I first want to get over it." She placed her hand on mine. "I'll wait for you y/n. Just take your time."

A/N: I always read about that y/n goes to her friend and the same day they date already. But that's so unrealistic in my opinion. So that's the reason why I wrote this as an ending 💚🌱
