Y/N's POV

I'm excited for today. I check everything before I leave the house. I look one more time into the mirror. Would he like my outfit? I hope so. I left the house and went to NCT's dorm. They let me in. Everyone was walking all over the place. "What's going on here?" I asked. "We're preparing for today." Haechan answers. "Preparing? Y'all are running around." I've never seen them like this. "Taeyong is everything okay?" I asked walking into the kitchen. "Oh hey y/n, can you help with the food." It wasn't really a question but I help him anyway. "I thought we were going to leave at 9." I said. "You know how it goes with all of us. I'm sorry that we're leaving later."

"Finally! Let's go!" I sigh as the last person enters the car. We could finally leave to the beach. But first a long drive. "Y/n." Someone called my name. "What?" I asked. "Do you have candy with you?" Taeil asks. "It's still morning." I answer. "But I want to eat candy." I shook my head. "If you really want some ask someone else." I smiled. "Does anyone have candy?" He asks the others but they shook their heads. "Y/n, please." He whines. "Okay fine, here." I can't say no to him. "Thanks, you're the best!" He smiles.

We arrived. I got out of the car and breathe in the fresh air. "Is everyone here?" Taeyong asks counting all of us. "Why do I only count 20 people plus y/n?" He asks panicking. "You forgot yourself!" Jeno answers. "Oh oops. Let's go now." Some of us ran onto the beach as we walked calmly. "Is this a good place?" I ask. I receive some nods. I opened my blanket and spread it out on the sand. "No, don't just lay down. Come with us!" Lucas picks me up and carries me. "Put me down! I can walk." Lucas puts me down again. "Beach volleyball. Let's play!" I get the ball in my hands and start playing. "Ah no! Why didn't you stop the ball?" Chenle asks Jaehyun. "The ball came to you. Focus now okay." I chuckle at their little discussion.

"Y/n, let's get into the water!" Jisung asks. "Okay wait a second." I'm lucky I wore my bikini under my clothes. I got ready and ran to the water. I jumped into the water making some to splash into Taeil's face. "Ah omg y/n. You're getting that back!" He starts splashing water in my face. "Look how cute." Jaemin said thinking we won't hear him. As soon we stopped splashing water someone pulled me down. "Johnny! Are you crazy?" I ask him trying to pull him underwater as well but it's no use.

Taeil's POV

Seeing y/n so close with Johnny made me feel jealous. They're always so close. Maybe she likes him. Who wouldn't? He's tall, handsome, funny, he's everything. I walk out of the water and go back to were Taeyong and Doyoung are sitting. "Why do you look sad?" Doyoung asks. "I'm not sad. Don't worry about me." I said. I haven't told anyone that I like y/n. They'd only tease me and maybe even tell her. And if someone tells her it should be me.

"Taeil here you are. I almost thought you were lost. Why didn't you say you were going out of the water?" Y/n sits next to me. "I didn't thought I had to say that." I told her. "Did you get Johnny under water?" I asked her. "No he's too strong. He just picked me up and dropped me in the water again." She chuckles telling that. "I have a question." I said. "Do you like Johnny?" She looked surprise at me. "As friends, yes. But nothing more. What made you think that?" She asks. "I don't know, you 2 look so close." She shook her head. "No I don't like him in that way, we're just really good friends."

"I'm hungry, can we eat?" Jungwoo and Mark appeared. "Oh it's already lunch time, let's get everyone together to eat." Kun gets up and calls everyone together. Everyone gathers around and starts eating. I had to be quick or else there wouldn't be much left. "Who took the last banana milk? I wanted it." Y/n pouts. "I'm sorry. Here take it, I'll drink something else." I said. "What if we share?" She suggests. "No it's fine. You can have it." I told her giving it to her.
