Hendery's POV
A few years ago

"Are you leaving?" Y/n asks seeing me with my luggage. She wasn't supposed to see this. Now I have to tell her in person. "Y/n, I'm sorry. But yes I'm leaving." I tell her. "Where to?" She asks. "Korea, I'm going to make my dreams come true. I'm sorry for not telling you. I'm going to miss you!" I hug her, for the last time before leaving the country. "I want to see you shine! You're going to do great!"

"I'll make you proud, I promise. Goodbye y/n." Saying goodbye to my best friend is the most difficult thing I've already done. "Are you ready to go?" Dad asks. "I think so." The car starts and we drive to the airport. I looked out of the window, y/n still standing at our house waving until we can't see her anymore. "Are you excited?" One of my sisters ask. "I guess." I felt guilty, I'm leaving everyone I care about behind.

Now

"Wah! I sleep in this room!" I yell out, letting everyone in the house know. "No, I wanted that room." Ten sighs. "Then you 2 share a room, everyone has to share rooms anyway." Kun tells us. I look out of the window, we had a great view. "I claim this bed." Ten let himself fall back on the bed. "Fine for me. This place is so great!" Ten hums in response. "It's only for a little while though." 2 weeks to be exact, we're staying 2 weeks here in China. "Every day counts, let's unpack and go out to explore the neighbourhood."

"Hendery, you see what I see?" YangYang asks. "If it's that arcade with flashy lights, then yes." We both give each other the same look before going to Kun. "Can we please go there?" We ask at the same time. "I thought you guys were hungry and wanted to get food." Kun looks at us with a confused look. "But we want to play some games first." Kun looks at the others, to see if it's okay. "Fine but not for too long." We both smile and run inside the arcade.

"Let's play that game first!" YangYang pulls me with him. We play a few games and look around what to do next. "That one?" I point at some shooting game. "Let's go." We were in the middle of gaming as Xiaojun comes to us. "We have to go now. We're going to the restaurant." He tells us. "Already? But I want to stay a little longer." I reply. "Just come, we're hungry."

We get to the restaurant and sit at a table somewhere on the side. We decided what to eat and ordered our food and drinks. "Hendery, I don't want to scare you but there's a girl staring at you ever since we got here." After hearing Lucas say that I look around. "Where?" I ask. "At that table, over there." He points not so subtle. I look over at the table, a group of girls where sitting there.

"That's not just any girl. That's y/n, she's my best friend!" I get up and walk to the table. "Y/n?" She looks up at me, cheeks red. "Hendery!" She stands up and we hug. "I missed you so so much." She whispers in my ear. "I missed you too. How have you been?" I asked. "I'm doing great. What about you?" She asks. "Can't get any better. Did I interrupt you and your friends? I'm sorry." I looked at the table full with food.

"It's okay, maybe we can meet another time to catch up with each other?" I start smiling and nod. "That'd be amazing. You still have my number right?" She nods. "Then text me, I'm still here for another week." It's so great seeing her again after a couple years. I go back to my table and sit down. "Who's that? You looked pretty close with that girl." Winwin asks.

"That's y/n, my best friend since childhood. I'm so happy to see her again." My smile not fading at all. "Sure that you 2 are only friends?" I nod. "Why, can't I be friends with a girl?" I asked. "Of course you can but I'd almost say you were dating her if I didn't know you." My cheeks heating up by Ten's comment. "Look at him blush. Do you like her?" YangYang asks. "What? N-not in that way." I hate myself for stuttering.

"I'm going, bye." I was ready to walk out of the front door but got stopped by Kun. "Where are you going?" He asks. "To a café nearby." I tell him. "With who?" WinWin asks. "I bet it's y/n!" Xiaojun laughs. "It's not a date, we're just catching up with each other." They all laugh. "Don't lie to us, we know you like her." Ten said. "Why'd you think that?" I ask. "You haven't talked about anything else these days and you look so red now." YangYang teases me. "Have fun, lover boy." Lucas laughs loudly.

I walked out in embarrassment. Why they gotta be like that? But they're not wrong. I've always liked y/n, that's why it was so hard saying bye to her when I had to go to Korea. Maybe I should tell her that I like her. I arrived at the café and see y/n sitting, with another guy. Who is he? I've never seen him. "Hey y/n!" I was about to hug her but she backed away. Why'd she do that? "I hope you don't mind that my boyfriend is here."

Boyfriend? She's in a relationship? I feel so stupid now. We talked for a while and catches up. We missed a lot these past years. Once her boyfriend excused him to go to the restroom, I see y/n change to the person I know. "I'm so sorry. I didn't want him here but he came anyway. I don't know what to do Hendery. I'm scared to break up with him." This explains already a lot. She looked so tense the whole time he's around.

"Just tell him. I'm here for you, if he tries anything bad I'll be here." I tell her placing my hands on top of hers. "Can't we just leave him now he's gone? Please." I thought for a few seconds but seeing the look on her face, I had no other choice but to say yes. "Come with me." We get up and walk out. "Where do you want to go?" I asked her. "It doesn't matter, I know that I'll be happy around you." She holds my hand, I look up at y/n. "Is this okay for you?" She asks and I slowly nod, a smile following.
