Yuta's POV

I recently moved to my own apartment. It's spacious enough to live on my own. I never met my neighbours. Every time I tried to knock on the door they weren't home. I'd honestly like to know who's living next door. It was another day, I knocked on their door. No one answered, of course. What if something happened to them? No, nothing happened. Maybe they don't want to meet me.

I went back into my apartment. I sit down on the couch for not even a minute as someone knocked on my door. I opened but no one was there. I need more sleep, this is just all in my head. Another knock, I was still at the door. I opened just a little and looked out. A girl. "Hello." I said. "Hi, I'm y/n. My aunt lives next door. She said you knocked but when she opened you weren't there anymore." I nod. "I indeed knocked but no one opened so I assumed no one was home."

"It's okay. Nice to meet you." She furrows still not knowing my name. "I'm Yuta." I said. "Nice to meet you Yuta. I have to go back now. Bye." She walked back into the apartment. Something feels strange but I don't know what. It's like something bad is going to happen. I sat down again, this time no strange knocks on the door. But my phone ringing. "Taeyong, is something wrong?" I asked. "Practice. Aren't you coming anymore?" I totally forgot. "I'm on my way, see you in a bit." I take my jacket and bag and leave my apartment.

Y/N's POV

"Auntie!" I greet her again. I come as many times as possible. She really can use the help. She always took care of me so now it's my turn. "Y/N, have you seen the boy again?" I shook my head. "No, Yuta was not home today." I told her. Every time we see each other we have a small talk with each other, but never more than that. It's either way I have to help my aunt or Yuta has to go to work. "You should ask him out." I shook my head. "I can't, we don't know each other that well." I tell her.

"He's a good guy, I know it. He's not like the bastard you dated before. I want to see you marry, get kids, live a happy life. If you wait too long I won't see that happening." I chuckle. "Don't say that auntie, that will happen and you'll see me living a happy life." We all know that's not happening. I only date the wrong persons. They cheat on me, abuse me or are toxic. I'll never find the right guy.

I walked out to go back home. When the elevator door opens I see Yuta. "Hey y/n! You visited your aunt again? How is she doing?" He asks me. I know he's just trying to be nice but I couldn't help but let a few tears escape my eyes. "What's wrong? Come inside, I'll get you some tea and you can tell me." I follow him inside. His apartment looks nice, better than the last person who lived here. I'm happy all these creepy cat pictures are gone now. "Sit down, I'll make you tea."

"Tell me what happened? What makes you cry like this?" He sits next to me waiting for an answer. "She thinks she'll never see me living a happy married life with kids and a good husband. I told her I'll live a happy life and that she'll see me get married." I start crying more. "And why are you crying?" He asks, his voice soft and calming. "I know that'll not happen."

Yuta's POV

"What do you mean? Why not?" I asked worried about her. She doesn't answer, I just hug her and try calming her. "It's okay, don't cry." I tell her. "I'll never find the right person. I only get hurt. They all hurt me, Yuta." I can't believe what she just said. Who'll hurt an innocent person, someone who's nice and caring. "I'm sorry to hear that. But don't lose hope, there are still some good people in this world."

A few months passed. Me and y/n talk more with each other, we're getting closer. I think I can say I like her, but she found a boyfriend. She told her auntie that her dreams will come true. She wants to marry this guy, she really likes him. I should accept it and be happy for her. Someone knocked multiple times at my door. It's midnight, who can this be? I opened the door and it was y/n. I see that she's trying her best not to cry. "Come in, sit down."
