"Hello, Michelle! It's so good to hear from you! How are you dear?" Margot greeted her daughter-in-law as she answered the phone.

"Hi Margot, I'm fine. How are you and Daniel and Greg?"

"Oh we're doing well. Greg's graduation was last weekend and he's now in New York. He got an accounting position at the firm Goldfine and Company and he'll be working with clients who need personal financial planning and estate planning. He's going to begin the process to becoming a CPA in the next year or so, but for now he's found a decent furnished studio apartment in midtown Manhattan and seems to be happy with his life in general."

"That's great! I sent him a card for graduation, did he get it?"

"Yes he did. He was pleased to hear from you honey."

"I'm glad. I was thinking about him and hoping he was doing better than he was when I spoke to you and Daniel about him before Christmas."

"Well, we finally persuaded him to stop the drinking and get some counseling. He went for a couple of months and has seemed to come to terms with Robert's death and has let go of the guilt he was carrying around about not being as close as they were when they were younger."

"That's great. I'm so relieved to hear that."

"So how are things with you honey? You're about to graduate too."

"I'm doing well. I finished my finals and presented my senior project, so now it's all said and done and I'm so relieved. I'll start my Masters courses in a couple of weeks.

"Wonderful! We're so proud of you that you decided to finish your degree. I know Robert would be proud of you too."

"Thanks Margot. So the reason I'm calling, is to ask if you would like to come to dinner here in Providence on Sunday evening. If you don't have time I completely understand, but my family is coming from Montreal to stay at Gran's house for a few days and then they're all going to drive to Providence for Commencement. Dad made reservations at Waterman Grille for a small group of my closest friends and loved ones and I'd love it if you and Daniel can make it. I miss you both and would love to see you."

"Oh that's so sweet of you to think of us dear. We miss you and would love to see you too! Tell you what, let me check with Daniel when he gets home from work and make sure, then I will call you back. Would that be alright?"

"Sure, that's fine. I know mom and dad would love to see you both also, so even if you can't make it here, I know they'd like to at least have a short visit once they get to Boston. They're flying in on Thursday afternoon."

"OK honey. I will check in with Daniel and once I know for sure, I will call you tomorrow."

"Alright, sounds good. Love you Margot and make sure to give Daniel my love too."
