On Tuesday morning, Michelle walked over to the CIT building to finalize her project and pulled everything together to submit her CAD drawings, floor plans, interior renderings and the model she built for the final crits of her summer coursework, then added the photos of her final project to her digital portfolio.
She was happy with the final outcome and was glad to have some time off from the grind, although she still would continue to go over to the Metcalf building to work on her glassmaking skills. She had tried her hand at making something for Shawn as a gift for his birthday which was coming up in a couple of weeks, but as of yet she would have to keep working on her idea, because the previous attempts at what she was trying to make were not satisfactory at this point. She had asked for some help with her idea from a couple of other students who were more advanced in glassmaking and creating unique objects that she admired when they were finished, so she figured they could give her some pointers and she would just keep trying until she was satisfied with her creation.
Once she had finished over at the CIT building, she walked home and did some housecleaning, hung the antique architectural prints back up on the bedroom wall, folded and put her clean clothes away, then figured out what to make for dinner. She had gone grocery shopping the previous week and had bought a lot of just picked vegetables at the nearby farmer's market, so she got out the slow-cooker and mixed up the ingredients for a balsamic marinade for chicken, baby red potatoes and fresh green beans, then put it all together in the crock pot to cook on medium high for 5 hours. Once it was closer to dinner time she'd make a salad to serve with it and the clean up would easy, since she had to be over at Brown by 7:00 for the self defense class she had signed up for with Patrice and Allison.
