"Babe, we're gonna have to check out by noon, so it should be alright to just leave our packed bags here in the room while we go downstairs for brunch, don't you think?" Michelle asked as she moved some things from her suitcase into her carry-on bag.
"That should be fine," Shawn answered as he finished shaving.
"Do you have everything packed except your shaving kit? Did you check to make sure?"
"Hun, I got it all finished earlier this morning. All I have to do is get dressed and put my kit in my suitcase."
"You left your carry-on in the trunk of your mom's car, so don't forget your stash box is in there."
"Oh, yeah. I'll take it out and put it in my suitcase when we walk over to the parking garage.
"It's a good thing I didn't buy anything else on this trip, otherwise it wouldn't all fit in this suitcase I borrowed from my mom," Michelle said as she finished rearranging the last items before closing her luggage and rolling it over to the door.
"You just have to know how to pack," Shawn chuckled as he rinsed off his face and dried it with a towel.
"I know how to pack, it's just that I have all the shoes and other stuff I bought in Montreal and I have all those vintage clothes that I got from my mom and then I bought even more when we went shopping here."
"My little shopaholic," Shawn smiled, pecking her on the lips as he walked into the bedroom to get dressed.
"I'm not a shopaholic, I just thought it was time to change up my wardrobe from stay at home wife and mother to a little more professional look and the vintage clothes are just fun to mix and match in with things I already have."
"I know honey, I was just teasing. You aren't one of those spendthrift women who needs retail therapy to fill some void in your life."
"I don't really even like shopping, unless it's online."
"Me neither. I avoid the mall at all cost unless it's an absolute necessity and even then I just want to get in and get out as quickly as possible," Shawn replied as he zipped up his jeans and pulled his sweater over his head.
"I'm really gonna miss this room," Michelle said as she ran her hands up the front of Shawn's sweater, feeling his muscular torso.
"Me too babe, I liked that corner fireplace and the way you looked with the firelight dancing over your hot body while we had marathon hotel sex," he chuckled, kissing her on the forehead.
"Yeah, I like a fireplace in a bedroom. Too bad mine doesn't have one."
"So you wanna have one more Royal York quickie before we go?" he asked, wiggling his brow.
"A Royal York quickie? No. Your family will be here in a few minutes anyway," she chuckled.
As they gathered up their luggage, making sure they had their passports and boarding passes in their jacket pockets, Shawn got a text from his mother, letting him know they were waiting in the lobby.
