Michelle walked calmly to the door in anticipation of greeting Shawn, however the brief conversation she'd just had with Xan filled her with anxious energy as images flashed in her brain of him without his clothes and what she'd like to do to him.

OK...STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM NAKED!

She opened the door to find Shawn standing there looking at her with that charming smile she loved and a takeout bag in one hand.

"Hi Chelle, you feeling ok? Why's your face all flushed," he asked.

"What? My face isn't flushed."

"Uh...yeah it is," he said as he walked in and touched her forehead with the back of his hand to check for a fever.

"Hmm...no fever. Here, I got you your mac and cheese," he said, handing her the bag as he took off his jacket and hung it on the coat tree and kicked off his sneakers.

She took the bag and reached up to hug him, feeling his cold cheek against her warm one, which took away some of the heat. As they walked down the entry hall, Michelle turned on the small lamp sitting on the hall table and then went to the kitchen to pull out what Shawn had picked up.

"You got a lot! What did you order?" Michelle asked as she pulled the containers from the bag.

"It was easier to just order two dinners because they each come with two sides, plus cornbread right out of the oven. Anyway, I ordered two chicken wing dinners, two sides of sweet potatoes and two sides of mac and cheese. You can have all the mac and cheese since that's what you're hungry for and there's ten wings. The sweet potatoes we can split if you want to," he explained.

Michelle just stood listening to him with a slight smile on her face as he explained his order and how he had it all figured out. When he was finished, he noticed the smile on her face. "Why're you looking at me like that?" he asked, giving her a grin.

"You're just too damn cute."

"What? What are you talking about? I just ordered food is all," he said as his cheeks turned slightly pink.

"I know, but you're cute explaining why you ordered what you did."

"Well you said you wanted comfort food and the only thing you wanted was mac and cheese. I wanted to get other stuff you might like."

"Come here...you're the other stuff I like," she replied, pulling him to her, reaching up and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Well damn, if I knew this is how delivery men are routinely greeted, I might have reconsidered my career choice," he chuckled as he gave her a kiss on her temple.

"So you want to throw away all these years of working on a degree in architecture, just so you can be greeted like this by hordes of ladies when you make deliveries?"

"Well...maybe not hordes...just a few select ladies on my delivery route," he replied with a serious tone.

"Really? Is that so?" Michelle pinched his side which made him flinch.
