"Can I help you" asked the lady. "Uh, yes. Is this the SC boarding house?" Ethel asked. "Yes. You must be the young hybrid named Ethelene or should I call you Ethel, I knew your mother very well we were the best of friends you know." She said in a happy playful manner. "Oh where are my manners, I'm Anne. How's your..." she trailed off and with a blank expression on her face, suddenly fell to the ground and begged that Max not kill her and then it seemed like she was struck in the chest by something I couldn't see and just laid there writhing in pain.
