The next morning when Ethel finally awoke Steve was busy feeding on a deer that he caught earlier that morning. Wow he really is handsome even if he is full of muck and dirt from last night's escape and the hunt we had afterwards. She thought to herself before she got up. "Hey, wait you shouldn't be getting up yet!" he yelled as soon as he realized that she was getting up. She was about to ask why not, when all of a sudden she felt it - pain. It was excruciating and made her collapse into his arms as he rushed towards her. "Kallen put a chain on your leg that he had soaked in liquidized flame-stone." He said as he laid her back down on a softened area in the cave. "I didn't want to take it off last night and wake you but I'll take it off you in a moment I just need to get some water to wash your leg off with and I'll also bring the deer so that you can feed and build up some strength."
"Thanks and how come I didn't notice it last night?" she asked "I don't know maybe you were too I the high with the adrenaline rush that you had from escaping. Well anyway I'll be right back with some water should I bring some extra for you to drink?" "No thanks, but could you first bring me the dear so I can feed?" "Yeah okay, here you go." he said as he brought the deer close enough for her to reach.
