When she finally awoke she found herself in a solid steel cage in a room with a solar disc in the roof. Ethel recognized this type of design. Rooms like these were specifically engineered for the torture and killing of vampires. All they had to do to begin the torture was to pull a rope and the solar disc would flip open allowing as much sun light as possible in to slowly burn the vampires to death. But luckily for her she isn't just a vampire and can survive in sunlight.
"Finally awake are we?" Asked a stubby man in what looked like a guards' uniform. Yep definitely a guard she thought to herself. "Where am I? And where is Steve?" He began to speak again but not to answer her. "You two must be mates or whatever, because he asked me the same thing before I left him with Adam." Now she was getting a bit irritated. "You didn't answer me. Where. Is. He." She asked, fangs exposed. He then motioned a hand signal to someone and the solar disc moved and just as she had thought, they had never expected her to just stand there in the sun. Most probably dived into the corner on the left that's in the shadows just before burning to their deaths. "Wha wha what. A a are you..."
