Sigh.

All the excitement that I’ve once felt when I stepped into this school.. It went somewhere, to a place I could never find. I feel powerless to do anything, after all that just happened.

A new meaning is all thesis have ever searched for, even if we knew that our past fame wont leave us.We’ve tried to hide it at first but heck, even the security guard at our new school wanted our autographs for her daughter the moment we walked in that big excuse for a gate. Well, in the long run, we thought it was okay, even if our classmates look more often on us rather than the professors and even if we don’t have to wait in lines in the cafeteria because they’ll make way the moment you see them. It was all okay, as long as we can create a wonderful circle of friends like we did in Windy City. Maybe with Angela in the picture. Axielle can join in as well… and probably professor Zimilan IV too. Just…

Just without all the magic and the drama and the…well, horror.

We have never thought so wrong in our entire life.

“Sigh.” Paolo’s voice went down together with his head as we tread down the hallway to reach the school theatre. That huge red velvety door that we once wanted, almost craved to enter so bad, now became a void that I didn’t even know if looking at it isn’t right anymore. He was also unsure id doing this thing is right as well. Why is the professor pushing this even if he knows all the danger that were in?

“I-I just cant find any reason to go on anymore, I just cant! “ Jenny worried. “Why are we still doing this? I already passed out for God knows why! We’re supposed to be concerned with our safety! The heck with the emperor’s rules!Even if he wants us to play, then… “

Jenny is right. Maybe we’re pushing this thing for too far. Yes, were gonna be treated highly and were gonna  have our own band stuff and headquarters and were gonna have friends in super high places – I mean royalty high places – but… who cares about all that if were all, well, gone?

Allan was the last one to sigh. “Heck, even with the best  guards  watching our backs right now, I still don’t feel safe. Should we still do this?”

Those last words silenced us. All the sound that I can hear now was the sound of the mattress being pounded by my footsteps and the doubts in my cerebrum.

Nobody expected for this to happen. The ghost, the magic, the fights at the house in the morning and the unexplained chills up at night…

Especially, to the girl that calls herself… Aimei.

All we wanted was a place where we can enjoy high school somewhere beyond our homeland that’s... Literally… made of snow.

To escape being hidden in circles of security and to live as normal people. To enjoy new worlds, have road trips at different provinces…or countries.

Sigh, now I guess our homeland is the only place where we can do that.

So much for road trips.

“What do we do now?” Paolo finally spoke, looking at all of us. “Especially you, Tony. It’s like all you can ever do is sigh!”

“Well…uh...” sigh, what could I do?

“See? You did it again!” he sighed as well. “But that’s not the real problem, is it?” Paolo straightened ever so tall before stretching his arms.
