(It's completely quiet until the music starts playing. The music starts. The soldiers are all laid out on the ground. Virgil slowly stands up. Virgil puts his hand on Rose's shoulder. She flinches slightly.)
Virgil: Come home with me
(Rose lifts her head and looks at Virgil with tears in her eyes. Rose's necklace starts glowing purple.)
Rose: It's you
Virgil: It's me
(Rose sits up and hugs Virgil tightly)
Rose: Virgil
Virgil: Rose
(They stand up. Rose holds his left hand with her right hand.)
Rose: I tried to come back to you
Virgil: I know
Rose: You were there?
Virgil: No, my brothers told me soWhatever happenedI'm to blame
(Rose puts her right hand on Virgil's right cheek.)
Rose: No
(Virgil puts his left hand on Rose's right hand.)
Virgil: I wasn't there
Rose: You cameBut how'd you get here?On the train?
Virgil: No, I walkedA long way
Rose: How'd you find me here?
Virgil: I sang our song
It gave me strengthThomas showed me a way to youNow we can sing our song again
(Rose steps back, with a sad look on her face. The necklace is now glowing purple and green.)
Rose: No, we can't
Virgil: Yes, we can
(Rose grabs Virgil's shoulders.)
Rose: No!
(Rose shows Virgil her left hand with the wedding ring.)
Rose: You don't understand...
(The music stops. Virgil grabs her hand softly. He looks up at Rose and steps back. Now the necklace is glowing orange, green, and yellow.)
Rose: Virgil I didn't want to do this.
Virgil: What did Janus do?
Rose: He forced me to marry him.
Virgil: Rose, we have to leave.
Rose: Virgil, did you not just hear me? I'm married to Deceit.
Do I love him? Absolutely not!
Virgil: Then why can't you leave?
Rose: Because I think I can stop the war! If I stay with him and give him what he wants, I can keep the kingdom safe!
Virgil, I can keep you safe. Virgil if something happened to you...I can't let that happen
Virgil: Rose, please. Let me talk to him at least,
Rose: Virgil, he could kill you!
Virgil: Rose, he will hurt you! He could kill you!
Rose, let me take you home!
(Suddenly, Roman, Logan, Patton, and Thomas run onto the stage.)
Roman: There you guys are!
