Act 1; Scene 9: I'm Alive

(Rose is taking a walk by herself early the next morning, holding the flower Virgil gave to her)

Rose: Do I love him...? I can't right?

(Janus sees Rose, and walks up to her)

Janus: Princess! Hello! How are you?

Rose: What do you want Deceit?

Janus: Rose! The more you push me away, the more I'm going to keep coming back.

Rose: What does that mean?

Janus: I think you know exactly what that means.

Rose: Janus, what's wrong with you? Just leave me alone!

Janus: Oh Rose...how naive you are. How naive you've always been.

*music starts here*

Janus: I am what you want me to be
And I'm your worst fear, you'll find it in me

(Rose starts to walk faster, her necklace glowing orange and dark blue)

Rose: Deceit...

(Janus starts following Rose, racing in front of her)

Rose: Janus, I don't love you! I'm sorry!

(He grabs her by the shoulders, Rose struggling to get away)

Rose: You don't-

(Rose is trying to back away, but Janus grabs her arm.)

(Thomas sees Janus following Rose, so he comes up to them)

Thomas: Janus, leave Rose alone. She's already said she doesn't love you, now go be a decent human and leave.
