Chapter 8: SHATTERED
Jorge's POV
The game will start in five minutes. I don't even have any pressure. I observe the pool area as crowd continues to cheer for their program's representative. From a distance, I saw Sandara peacefully sitting at the right corner of the pool's bleachers.
I was dumbstruck after not seeing any trace of that arrogant lady. "Where is she?" I asked, wondering. "Bakit 'di sila magkasama? Damn! Why did she leave that arrogant girl in the clinic?" I said, asphyxiated.
"You're next, Jorge."
I don't know why I became so concerned to her. I felt a strange feeling like a lightning strode me. Do I falling in love with her? I don't know what the exact answer is. But, I'm not.
The University has four clinics with its hired knowledgeable and welcoming nurses. I went to Clinic 2 as where Ms. Sungit admitted after her game. I immediately opened the glass door and headed to the nurse table. Luckily, ma'am nurse is still on duty, knowing they go home as time strides to five.
I pleasantly smiled as I faced the nurse. "Excuse me, ma'am. Puwede po bang magtanong?"
"You are already asking, go on," she replied.
I forced to smile as if I didn't get offended.
"May I know her name?" tanong niya sa'kin.
I froze for a moment, trying to remember her name. Shit. "Auhm, she's..."
Damn! It only shows she's not worth to remember.
"Auhm... Len? Lenny?" I answered, unconfidently.
"Walang Len or Lenny na dinala rito kanina."
"I forgot her name, ma'am. But maybe the record book could help me know her name."
"Oh! Wait a second."
"Exactly! That arrogant girl!" I replied energetically.
"I-I'm sorry, ma'am," nasabi ko bago pa man ako titigan ng masama.
Sige po, thank you, ma'am."
