Aaron walked into his new room. Smiling to himself that he had this small thing all to himself. He laid on the bed. Finding comfort in it. Although, he never had really experienced anything soft, considering he didn't have a bed. He closed his eyes for a second and took a breath. Taking in all that had happened in the day.
His moment of peace was disturbed when he heard footsteps and voices coming towards him. With his instincts taking over, he sat up and stared at the door. But relaxed when he saw that it was only Simmons, Fitz and Skye.
"As I said before. Yours is right next to his. Which is right next to mine." He told Skye, before both him and Jemma left.
"Hey." Aaron greeted, Skye looking up and smiling at him.
"Hey. So, I see your settling in well." She replied. He shrugged before replying.
"Yeah well. Just been a long day. If it still is that same day." He told her, her nodding and chuckling at the last part.
"Yeah, I get it. Just seems like a lot. You go from one world into another." Her description of it had Aaron nodding along in agreement. She gestured for him to come in, he did so and sat on her bed.
"So, your van. You going to miss it?" He asked her.
"Yeah. I'm guessing you aren't going to miss that base?" She replied, Aaron shook his head.
"So, I got a name now." He said, his eyes becoming brighter as he said it. Skye smiling at his child like look he got.
"Oh yeah? What is it?" She asked, she genuinely wanted to know, as she liked the kid, there was something about him, she didn't know what it was. Maybe just the fact that she could relate in some way to his trauma. But now she would have a name to call him.
"Aaron." He was about to say, but Ward beat him too it. Both Skye and him turning to see Ward as he walked into Skye's room. While Skye tried to start a conversation with him, he stopped her by handing the two a pamphlet.
"You both may want to read that. This isn't like other planes." He told the two.
"No shit." Aaron mumbled while Skye said.
"You could say that again." But more loudly. Coulson came over and asking her on what exactly.
"Sweet ride." Was her reply while smiling.
"I earned a little good will from Director Fury when I got hit right before the Battle of New York. Gaining both people's interest.
"You took a bullet?" Skye asked.
"Ish. An Asgardian stabbed me through the heart with a Chitari sceptre. The effect was similar." Coulson told the pair, Skye's look was shock, Aaron's was confusion.
"Got a few weeks R&R and this plane. Had it completely refurbished, studs up, spared no expense." Coulson explained.
"Yeah, looks like it." Aaron complimented.
"Yeah, Agent Ward told me they sent you to Tahiti." Skye said.
"It's a magical place." Coulson replied.
"You mentioned that." Skye said, Aaron becoming suspicious after hearing what Skye said. They went to a booth like place just outside of the rooms. Coulson giving Skye a coaster for her drink.
"Buckle up." He told the pair. Who did as tell.
"So where are we going?" Aaron asked, as he and Skye both sat down.
