The truck was still barrelling towards the tower. Agents were going haywire, all trying to do something. Whether that be with the civilians or otherwise. Mack had still not given an order to Davis, the two women looking at him for that order. He was frozen, stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Either sacrifice some of his agents and close friends and stop the truck for sure, or hope that they'd stop it and do nothing. That was it, that was the choice.

"Local law enforcement are on standby." One agent told Mack, Lisa recognised her as the agent she saved when the Shrike were about to bring the Zephier down.

"Tell me they can stop that truck?" Mack asked, naively hopeful that the answer of that question would be positive.

"Negative, there are no units in range." Well, at least that bubble didn't last for long.

"Alright, Davis." The pilot looked to his boss, standing up from the chair, "How close can we get to that rig?" Mack asked.

"Not very; the Zephyr's too big, our weight could topple them."

"What about the Quinjet?" Elena asked. Mack looked not only to her, but also to Lisa. The girl looked between the two of them with a confused look on her face.

"Think you could get to them in time?" He asked, Lisa's eyes widened a little at the question. Her fear coating her eyes.

Elena placed a hand on her shoulder in comfort, "Trust me, we can." She said, trying to put some confidence into the girl.

"Alright, go ahead, prepare the Quinjet." The two women nodded, leaving to do just that.

"And, Lisa!" Both turned at the Mack's call. He, despite everything going on, gave them (more specifically, her), a soft smile, "You've got this."

She wanted to believe his words...

"Just because I'm at the top of my game, does not mean I can defuse Alien explosives. I need more time, ok?" Deke seemed to have even worse luck when May re-entered the drivers part of the truck only to see it was still speeding towards its intended destination.

"Three minutes to collision! How's it looking?" Was all she said as she walked up to them.

"Like we have three minutes to live." Aaron scoffed at Daisy's blunt humour.

"Everything's fine. My consciousness will melt into the cosmos. I'll merge with –" Snowflake's philosophical comfort was cut off by Deke. Aaron, meanwhile, looked at her with slight amusement.

"What the fuck is she taking, and can I have some?" His question went unanswered.

"Babe, babe, babe, babe, babe. Let's not talk about the infinite, alright? Not right now. Let's talk about this bomb. So, what do you know about that?" Deke asked hastily.

Snowflake took a breath to try and calm herself, "Nothing."

"...It's honest." Aaron had to give her props for that. Snow gave him a timid smile as thanks. He returned it.

She turned back to Deke, "I just know that the slightest impact causes it to split the tiniest unit of matter in half. Which makes a big noise."

"That's an atom bomb!" Daisy yelled as she got up from her seat, "You've just described an atom bomb!"

"I hear it's pretty."

"When you're far away, sure." Aaron said, trying to let her down gently.

"Do you know what that means?" Daisy asked, turning to Deke.

"It means I'm in over my head –"

"Welcome to SHIELD." Deke was inclined to agree with Aaron's statement.
