Rage is a powerful thing. It pushes us forward. My rage? Directed at the bastards who did all this shit to me. I've said some things but left a large majority of shit out. Vague details mostly. Everyone has a past. Even those that can't remember them. I know I need to say all of it. Come clean. And yet I am... Afraid. That fear backs you into a corner, if you let it consume you. I don't know what consumed me to make me who I am. And I don't know if I ever want to find out.

"You guys may think it's old news, but it's new...news to everybody else. So, Asgardians are aliens from another planet that visited us thousands of years ago?" Skye asked, trying to wrap her mind around it, carrying a box. As they walked through the university, cleaning up the mess that Thor had left behind.

"Or more." Coulson said as he spotted another artefact and placed it in the box.

"And because we couldn't understand aliens, we thought they were Gods?" Skye asked.

"That's where our Norse mythology comes from." Coulson explained. Skye sighing.

"That's too crazy. Do you think other deities are aliens, too?" Skye asked as she followed Coulson. Aaron looked around at the artefacts. There was a whole bigger world. Skye's words about it getting more complicated rang in his mind. From what he could gather, the gods were people who had powers that others could not comprehend. He wasn't a god, he knew that. He.... He was turned into someone with abilities. So, did that make those that made him who he was gods?

Jesus, look at them all. Aaron thought to himself as they watched footage of a riot going down. The broadcast cut to a message done in fire in the streets, that spelled "We are Gods". Aaron gulping at that.

"Jakob Nystrom, thirty. Girlfriend, Petra Larson. Leaders of a Norse Paganist hate group." Ward told them back on the BUS.

"And their numbers are growing thanks to what happened in Greenwich and thanks to the internet. Yay, internet, she said sarcastically." Skye said in that very tone.

Simmons asked what it was, Skye explained that the group were obsessed with anything from Norse or Asgard mythology. Ward inspected the rod, Simmons saw that it was broken into two or more parts.

"What are the markings?" Aaron asked, Coulson explained that they were Asgardian symbolism. And due to the limited knowledge SHIELD had on it, they couldn't translate it.

Skye suggested contacting Thor, Coulson shut the idea down and informed them that he was off the grid. May told them about SHIELD looking into the group. Coulson followed up by telling the group their mission. Finding the pieces before the other group. Easy.

"Guys, what if it called to them. With magic?" Skye offered, the others looking uneasy about that, Aaron took the idea on board and genuinely considered it, seeing as how anything could've been possible. Skye followed up by arguing about the rules being a bit different with Asgard things. Jemma joked that they would go back to the 'dark ages'.

Coulson then surprised them by being serious that they might do that. Telling the group about someone who was an expert of Asgard, and Norse mythology located in Spain.

"What are you looking at?" Aaron asked, as he watched Skye tap away on the holocom and her pad. She turned to him, slight smile on her face as she answered,

"The Dark Web. It's like a place to go when you need illegal things. Thought maybe there'd be something on there." Aaron nodded at the explanation.

"We can use it to find the people who took you, if you want?" Skye's offer was genuine and heartfelt. Aaron felt his stomach twist a little at it. Still, he put on a smile, and shook his head.
