Gordon had saved them. But, as Aaron opened his eyes, he saw that he was in a new location. He wasn't at the base, he wasn't at the cabin. He was somewhere knew. This place, to his admittance, had more of a colour pallete to it: mainly red. But, this red wasn't the normal type of red, not the dangerous kind. No, this red was the more soothing tone, the darker shade.

He tried to move, but noticed some pins on his stomach. Pins that glowed every so often.

"What the fuck –" His question/statement was stopped by a new comer.

"Hey, easy, easy." She seemed a bit surprised that he was awake, but there was no hostility in her tone, only a soft lightness to it.

She, if he had to guess, looked around Skye's size, with blonde hair with red dyed in every so often.

Aaron didn't see the appeal, but if it worked for her, it worked for her. She was Caucasian, had a scar or two on her cheek. But, otherwise looked like everyone else he had met.

Still, he had his guard up, "Who are you?" He asked.

The woman sighed, "I was meant to be the one who would keep an eye on you until you woke up – go for one minute and I miss it." Ok, so she had some self deprecating wit to herself, Aaron could relate.

She then looked at him, eye's going serious, "I'm just like you. Not....well, you know, powered. But, I grew up at HYDRA too."

He seemed to soften a little at the decleration: someone else had gotten out.

"How – I....I mean – how did –" He was rambling, so many thoughts racing through his head at once. So many questions, ideas and theories.

"You were X-50, I was X-49......Hi neighbour. And...brother, I guess. Technically. All having the same dna pumped into us and what not." She greeted a bit awkwardly, giving a small wave and voice quietening a little.

She was nervous, it seemed. Either that, or as if she'd practiced a bit of the speech in front of a mirror or what not.

"You were the one that got out." He realised.

She nodded, "I was, I would've gotten more, but there was no time," She moved and sat on the seat next to him, "I'm sorry, ok? I'm really, genuinely, truly, sorry that I didn't get you out when I left. I – I just, I thought you were –"

"I think we all thought we were all dead with the amount of gunfire then.....I mean, making friends was not a – a good idea there, and –" His thought finally came back to him, "Skye...my friend that was with me, I need to –"

"She's fine," The woman assured, putting a hand on his arm to stop him from moving, "She is. Trust me, my friend is looking after her. Besides, she's still resting."

"Resting? What do you mean? How long – how long have I...we, been here for?"

She nodded, fair question, "You're awake before she is. You've been out for about a day."

"A day?!" She nodded, "Fuck. Something's going on with my other friends. They're in trouble." He once again tried to get up, only to once again be stopped.

"Rest up for a few more hours, I'll be back to check in on you." As she started to leave, he called out.

"What are you? Like, I mean, what's your role here?"

She stopped as she had just opened the door, turning to face him but keeping a hand on it, "You're your person to help you through Terrigenesis, the thing that happened to you to give you your powers." She gave him one last smile, before leaving.
