Part 6

I sat in my seat, but I heard girls whisper behind me. "Who does she think she is". "Jaemin isn't gonna fall for her anyway". "Don't worry Yuna, he will always be yours". I just pretended like I didn't just hear that. The teacher started talking.

I took some notes and listened to what the teacher said. before I knew it, class was over. I headed to my next class. Which was math. I sat down and a few seconds later Jaemin walked in. He sat down next to me and gave me a smile. The girls who sat behind me in my last class walked in.

One of them winked at Jaemin. I guess that's Yuna. Jaemin kept looking at her. Maybe there's something going on between them. Soon the teacher started talking. I don't understand anything. "I suck at math". I said very quiet, but apparently Jaemin heard it. "really? I'm pretty good at it, I'll help you if you want". I nodded.

LUNCH
Right now it's lunch time and I was looking for Soyeon and Yujin. When I found them. I walked up to their table. "Hey girl". Soyeon said. "Hey". I said a little bit distracted when I saw Yuna sitting next to Jaemin. "Everything okay?" Yujin asked. "Yeah, why?". "You look distracted". Soyeon and Yujin looked into the direction I was looking at.

"Seriously y/n, that's what I mean, he doesn't care". Soyeon said. Maybe she's right. I just looked away and started talking. "You guys wanna do something after school?". Yujin asked. "I'm down, what about you y/n?". "Why not".

END OF SCHOOL
School was over and I went to my locker. I haven't seen Jaemin all day. Maybe he's just busy with other things. I was almost done at my locker. "Ready?". I turned around and saw Jaemin. "I kinda made plans with Soyeon and Yujin...". "Oh.' He looked down.

"I'll cancel it if-" he cut me off. "I have to go". with that he walked away. What is up with him? Soyeon and Yujin walked up to me. "What happened?". Yujin asked. "I don't know". I said still confused. "Boys will be boys". Is what Soyeon said.

"So, are you ready to go?". Soyeon asked. "Where are we going exactly?". "You'll find out". We all walked out of the school and got in Soyeon's car. They started driving to the mall. Soyeon parked her car and we walked into the mall. "Is this what you guys always do?". I asked. "Hell yeah!" Yujin said. I laughed.

We went inside a few stores. I didn't buy anything, cause I'm still saving money for a car. I just watched the girls doing their things. I was just thinking about Jaemin. Why is he acting so weird all of a sudden?Did I do or say something wrong. Because I was thinking so much I started to get a headache.

"hey guys, I think I'm gonna head home". "We will drive you home". Soyeon said. "No it's okay, I will walk". "We'll see you at school, I guess". I waved at them and walked out of the mall. The mall isn't that far from my house either.

It started to get very cold, so I rubbed my arms to keep me warm. I didn't want to go home yet, so I went to the nearest park. I sat down on a bench and just listened to the sound of nature. Something interrupted it. My phone went off. It was mom. "What is it mom?". "Where are you?".

"I'm at the local park". "Come home, it's getting late". She hung up. I sighed and started walking home. I walked through the front door. "I told you to text me if you were gonna do something". "Sorry mom, I just forgot okay". "Were you with him again?" "What no, I was with Soyeon and Yujin, and why would you care anyway?'

"Because I'm your mother". "Well it doesn't feel like that.' With that I walked upstairs to my room. I hate that my parents are so controlling. Why do they wanna know everything I do. I have my own life. I looked at the time and it was 9.

That's when my mom came into my room. "Your dad and I have to leave for work again". "Okay". She closed the door and walked downstairs. This is what happens every day. I heard the front door close. I put on some comfy clothes and went downstairs.

I grabbed a blanket and sat down on the couch. I was watching a movie when the doorbell rang. I paused the movie and walked up to the front door. I opened it and saw Jaemin standing there in tears.
