Part 8

Well I have to do it. otherwise they're gonna think I'm a loser. Someone handed me a bottle of Vodka. I opened it. Still not breaking eye contact with Jaemin. I was about to drink it when someone stopped me.

I looked to my side and saw Soyeon. She took the bottle out of my hands. "Don't do that". Is what she said. I looked at Jaemin and he was just laughing. I couldn't stand the sight of him anymore. The girls had already walked away. I just went outside to the backyard and sat down on a chair.

There weren't a lot of people outside. I can't believe Jaemin changed this much in 2 days. I sat outside for quite some time. "This party sucks". I said and stood up. I almost found my way through all the people to the front door, but i was stopped by Soyeon. "Where are you going". She said obviously drunk. "Home".

I was about to walk away, but she grabbed my arm and pulled me to the dance floor. "No, stay". She said whining. "Soyeon, i really wanna go home". She let go of my arm and i sighed. I walked to the frontdoor, but when i was about to leave someone said something to me. "Already leaving?".

I turned around and saw Hyunjin standing there with a red cup in his hands. "Yeah".
I said, feeling a bit awkward. "Why would you leave this party so early, you just got here". He said getting closer. "I just- i'm not really in the mood". I put head down. "You wanna go for a walk?".

I looked back at Hyunjin. He's gonna leave his own party? I slowly nodded my head. He walked out of the house first and i followed him. While we were walking, none of us said anything. I didn't want it to feel awkward so i said "you have a very pretty house". He laughed.

"Thank you". "Do you always throw parties?". "Yes, i like to have some fun". I just giggled. "So i heard you're new to our school. You liking it here?". Hyunjin asked. "Well it's not as bad as i expected honestly". "Really? why?". He said taking a sip of his drink. "I kinda like it here, the people are a lot nicer".

We both giggled. "Well i'm glad you're having a good time here". I nodded my head. "I also saw that you're close to Jaemin". Really? Why does he need to bring him up. "Yep". "I would have never thought that anyone would come close to him".   "Why does everyone keep saying that, it's not like he's some kind of monster".

"Y/n he just has a bad past".  "Can we please talk about something else, i'm not in the mood to talk about him". "Why did something happen?". "I-i don't know". I sighed. "He's just acting really weird all of a sudden". Suddenly it started to get very windy. I rubbed my arms. "Here".

Hyunjin took off his jacket and put it around me. "Thank you". He gave me a smile. "Let's go back to my house".  We walked back to his house. When we got back everyone was still there. I went inside for a second, but when i walked inside i saw Jaemin.

He looked at me and hyunjin. Once he saw Hyunjin's jacket around my shoulders, he nodded his head and walked past me outside the house. I sighed. "Here Hyunjin". I gave him back his jacket and walked after Jaemin.

"Jaemin wait". I said walking after him. He ignored me and kept walking. "Jaemin please". He started walking faster and faster. I couldn't keep up anymore. I ran out of breath. I saw him disappear around the corner and that's when i stopped. I let a out sigh.
