Part 40

1 YEAR LATER
"Jaemin smile!". I said holding my phone wanting to take a picture of Jaemin in the flower field. He gave me one of his precious smiles and i took some pictures of him. "Now come here". He pulled my waist, so now we were both laying on the grass. We both laughed.

I laid my head on his chest and he was stroking my back. Feeling the cool summer breeze on my skin was the best feeling. No worries anymore. Just me and Jaemin. School finally ended and we both graduated.

We haven't heard much of Hyunjin the past couple months. After our graduation he kinda just disappeared. No one knew where he went. He didn't tell us either.
Mr Hwang kept his word. Ever since that day, no one tried something. I haven't seen him or his men, which is good.

My parents ... honestly i have no idea. I barely see them. They're always gone, probably busy with their gang. I'm fine with it as long as they don't involve me in it. They've tried to talk to me many times. Saying that i would be a good use in their gang. I always turned down their offer.

"Hey y/n?". Jaemin said. "Hm?". I lifted up my head to look at him. "Remember the day we met?". I nodded my head. "The moment i looked into your eyes, i knew you were someone special". I slapped his chest. "Yah! Don't be so cheesy". He laughed. "I mean it! I'm happy you didn't give up on me".

A smile grew on my face. "Honestly everyone was telling me you were bad news and i just wanted to prove them wrong". "Well i'm glad you did it". I gave a quick peck. "Thank you for always staying by my side". He said. I just smiled.

"Na jaemin, what did i do to deserve you?". He giggled and wrapped his arms around me and hugged me very tight. "Let's go home". He said. We both got up and started walking home. "Do i look cute in the pictures?". He asked. I giggled. "Very cute". I just said and i saw a big smile forming on his face.

After some time we arrived at my house. We went straight to the kitchen and Jaemin started cooking. I just sat on the counter watching him cook. He's way better at it than me, so i let him do it.
"Is it almost done?". I asked feeling very hungry. Jaemin giggled and came up to me. He stood in between my legs. "Yes, its almost done". He pecked my lips and finished cooking.

We enjoyed the meal and cleaned up after. Later that evening i asked Jaemin "You wanna watch a movie?". "Yes, can i pick one?". I nodded my head. I wanted to grab some snacks, but realised that we didn't have any. "Okay, while you pick a movie, i'll go get some snacks from the store". "Be safe and call me if anything is wrong". He said as i left the house.

I went to the nearest convenience store. What should i get? I just grabbed anything that looked tasty. "Maybe this is too much?". I said to myself. I shrugged and paid for everything. I walked out of the store and walked back to my house.

I had a feeling someone was following me, so i walked faster. When i heard the footsteps behind me. I slowly grabbed my phone, wanting to call Jaemin, but before i could, a voice stopped me. "Y/n, please".
I stopped in my tracks when i heard his voice. I slowly turned around. "Hyunjin?".
He was wearing all black with a mask. The hood of his hoodie was covering his face.

I walked closer to him. "Don't come too close". He said and i stopped walking. "Why? what's going on? Where have you been?". I asked. He didn't answer. He looked around and walked up to me. He gave me an envelope and said. "I'm sorry". With that he ran away. "Wait!".

I looked at the envelope. It had my name on it. "What is this?". I slowly started opening the envelope. There was a paper in it. I pulled it out of the envelope and read what was on it.

"Hello miss y/n, welcome to your first mission, don't tell anyone about this, or your loved ones will get hurt".
