"You were good!

"What do you expect? My mom's a volleyball player. I may or may not play with her when I was a kid." He laughed when I throw him the ball. Tignan mo 'tong taong 'to, may gana pa talagang tumawa.

"But you picked basketball as your sports!" He shrugged at me before he shot his brow up.

"Well, I like volleyball but I like basketball more," he gave me a small smile. "So, 'yon ang pinili ko."

"Ang galing mo talaga," I gave him a thumbs up. "Teach me, master."

"Master, amputa," he laughed out loud and slightly raised his brows at me. He also smirked before walking towards me. "But I can be your master in bed, too."

"Damn, your wild," I raised my middle finger at him. "Huwag kang lumapit sa 'kin."

"You started, love," he laughed again then hugged me. "Just kidding."

"Graduating na 'ko," I spat out like he didn't know. "Kakayanin naman natin, 'di ba?"

"Kakayanin natin 'to," he seriously said as he leaned his forehead to mine.

I won't promise because it was meant to be broken.

"Nagte-text ba sa 'yo ang kuya mo?"

I furrowed my brows as I glanced at Alexa. She was drinking her energy drink as she shakes her head.

"He didn't," she said as she finished drinking it. "Ilang araw na, ate."

"Umaga pa kahapon ang last niyang text sa 'kin," I said, still furrowing my brows. I was looking at my phone, waiting for a reply.

"I can't ask, mom and dad," she gave me sad smile. "Out of town na naman sila."

"It's okay," tumango ako sa kaniya at ngumiti. "You don't have to. I was just wondering why he didn't reply to any of my texts."

"Maybe, I'll try to call him later, ate." She tapped my shoulder and gave me a smile. I nodded at her before she ran towards Hera.
