"And what do you thing about it? Would you like to do something else?" HoSeok asks, a after he told to awkward SeokJin about his plans of what they can do.
"No, I think it's okay." Jin mumbles quietly, not looking at his companion, clearly not feeling well in this situation. But he appreciates that Jung want's to know his thoughts.
"Are you sure? You don't look convinced." Kim finally looks at the older, hearing concern in his voice and a glimpse of it in his eyes.
"I just never in my life really went out with someone." He explains, shrugging, ready to hear laugh and mocking words, hiding in his shell like a snail that was touched.
"I see." Jung nods. "So I need to show you how nice is to spend some time with other people." He sends SeokJin a happy smile.
Younger of the two looks at HoSeok with slight consternation. He wasn't expecting reaction like this. Well, he actually didn't expected to hear any kind words as a response for his confession, but it looks like the older wants to surprise him more and more. Make him feel chaos somewhere inside of him, that causes him to look at the other boy like at someone really worth trusting.
"What do you mean?" Kim asks, not knowing what to expect form their meeting.
"I don't know yet. We'll see as we proceed. If we decide to do something else, we'll just change our plans. Whatever will make us spend a quality time. It's the important part of going out, fun. Don't worry about how it'l be, whatever's going to happen happens."
After hearing this, SeokJin once again thinks deeply. Is it really so simple like Jung talks about it? Is there really nothing to worry about? Maybe really it's worth giving it a chance. He won't know if he won't try. You only live once, maybe HoSeok will surprise him again and will help him change his way of looking at some things.
"So what now? Are we going somewhere?" He asks, trying to be brave and initiate something.
"Sure!" The older immediately jumps happily. "Let't go, I'll show you that you should give me a chance to be your friend."
At that moment SeokJin sees in HoSeok's eyes sincere determination. It makes his small spark of hope light up a little more, almost becoming a tiny flame.
