It was a late evening when SeokJin left Jungs' home after a wonderful family dinner. The strees were brightly lit with an orange light that came from lamps, reflecting on the white fluff that covered the area. Every passed house seemed to be in deep sleep.
The boy, which left only his foot prints on the snow, felt a strange bound in his heart. Was this because he finally saw what true family meant? Not his own of course, but just seeing HoSeok interact with his parents and sister shows him how much dysfunctional his family was. How much it was different from a normal one, where love and mutual care should be the most important, instead of hate and greed for money. He just couldn't stop wondering how his life would be like if he still was unwanted by his mother's family, a child out of wedlock, but his father's family wasn't rich, if this would change anything. If the greed didn't engfuled all of his relatives, would they look at him as on a someone more valuable than flaw on family's honor?
He didn't know. But he was sure that HoSeok definitely deserved his family. He deserved happiness and SeokJin was so happy and proud that the older considered him as his friend. It was the best thing that met Kim in his life and he was saying it with confidence.
As he thought about it, if what happened to him didn't happen, there was a huge possibility of not meeting Jung and if that was the case, he was apt to admit that his suffering was worth it. Maybe that's the first step into getting run of luck in his life? Especially now when he has not only HoSeok to support him but also his friends were swallowing becoming SeokJin's too. He never imagined to be so lucky in his life.
Not it gave him strength to survive few more months until he would be free. Until he would be able to have life he wanted to have. Until he could be himself.
With that in his mind, SeokJin for the first time in his life came back home in a good mood.
