That day JeonGuk stayed a bit late after his training. Usually he would go home around 6PM, but this time he stayed by 9PM bevause of upcoming competition in taekwondo. He nodded to polish some movements, well, he wasn't alone in it. Even their trainer stayed and helped to them who decided to train more.
Now finally he was going home, inhaling a pleasant, cold air of January's evening. At the same time he was dreaming of warm shower, yummy meal and fluffy bed. He wanted to read a little, the books he neglected that now seemed to look at him from the shelves. With that idyllic plan in mind he calmly walked home. Well, until he noticed something rather worrying.Around twenty meters before him, on a bridge above Han River, there was a dark figure. Their bright scarf in the shade of red was making them visible in the dark surrounding, while bending down through the barrier. Their a bit long hair was covering their face, hiding it from Jeon's eyes.
However at the moment it wasn't important, the person who was bending lower and lower until backed and stayed straight was. JeongGuk froze for a moment, before he sprinted to that someone when they tried to stand on the barrier. It wasn't hard to guess what tragedy may happen in a span of seconds.
It was almost too late when JeongGuk grasped on that person's coat, taking them down on the concrete sidewalk, landing on his but with them. The fall was hard, but he expected that. When he felt that the weight of the other person shifted a bit, he rose his head, eyes widening when he finally saw face of the person he saved.
On the cold concrete covered with a thin layer of snow there sat a crying boy with a bruise forming under his eye and a busted lip, looking at JeongGuk with a dark despair in his eyes.
"SeokJin?" Whispered Jeon, still not believing his eyes.
