If there was something SeokJin mastered, then it was pretending that nothing bad is happening. Through his whole life he learned how to hide every evidence of pain, physical, mental or emotional. Just, there was that one "but".
But at that time he didn't have any friends, or just any person who would see that something was wrong at all. Especially ones that knew about his situation. He realized that when during the first break, six boys stood around him, creating a circle and all at time began asking about his sudden disappearance. At least he was able to come up with some excuses during the first class, and the boys, that wasn't so close to him yet accepted. Only HoSeok knew what he knew. JeongGuk too was skeptical, but he decided to respect SeokJin's reasons in hiding the truth. Not that he didnt want to help, but he already saw how much problems for Kim came up after taking him to the police station.
So the skeptical duo kept quiet, while the reminding four more or less believed.
It didn't mean that Jung stopped noticing any Jin's unusual behavior. Try he hadn't rolled up his uniform's sleeves, but he already knew why. But he didnt understood why he didn't loosen his tie or even open one or two buttons in his shirt as the temperature at school was high.
He didn't have to wait long for an answer. During lunch break SeokJin decided to stay in the classroom, as he said he wanted to be alone for a while. However after some time Just g had to come back to the room, as he forgot something he needed.
Then he saw the younger as he was rubbing some cooling ointment on his collarbone and neck. He said nothing, as SeokJin, scared by the sound of opened doors, looked towards him, his eyes full of fear. The older came to his backpack, taking what he needed as Kim quickly neaten his collar and tie.
"Is this my fault?" Jungle asked quietly. "Is this because I told you to go to a police?" There was regret lingering in his voice.
"No." Jin shook his head. "Even if, then it isn't the main reason. Well, they don't need a reason to do that." He explained, avoiding naming what 'that' was. "Let's go to the canteen." He added quietly, walking out of the classroom.
The other followed him soon after. He felt like the younger was hiding something again, but he didnt know what to do to not cause him anymore harm.
