Trigger warning

SeokJin uses to go out with HoSeok for some time already and he slowly started to open up to him. The boy is his escape from what's happening at home. He really didn't know before that spending some time with other people. It is something he wouldn't ever trade for anything else. He started to value it.  His small source of happiness.

HoSeok is really appeared as a nice and kind person, with who Kim feels comfortable and sometimes he really wants to tell him everything. But he's still afraid it'll come back at him, in negative way.

Now he's coming back from one of their hang outs that they spend on talking happily about everything and nothing. Jung's not insisting, he let's the boy talk about things he's comfortable with and Jin is grateful for it. Everything seems to be a different reality than the one waiting for him at home.

And once again, right after coming through marble doorstep there is his father, waiting for him with pure anger on his face. SeokJin doesn't know what he's guilty about again. Probably something trivial, but does anybody care about it? Every small reason is good enough to punish him.

He jus hears about some stolen money as the bulky man grabs him harshly and drags to a room that reminds him of his worst memories. But except of money he gest to not look as a poor man and keep up with the game of pretending, he never takes any more money. He never roams around looking fort them, he never needs more. So the lost boy squeals a word of protest, denies and try to proof his innocence, but it only makes his father angrier and more aggressive. And what could the frail boy do to fight with a bulky man?

Nothing. And it makes him feel helpless. His father is doing whatever he wants with him, things which the boy doesn't want to thing about, doesn't want to remember. He's just trying to shut everything off, waiting for it to end already. From the boy living with rising hope, SeokJin becomes a doll, without any will to fight.

At some moment, when he almost blacks out, SeokJung comes in the room, telling to his father that he took the amount of money that his younger brother was accused of taking. And even if it's a clear proof of his innocence, no one cares. His father of course isn't mad at his older son, and the said man quickly joins him with his work of destruction.

The only SeokJin can do is to wait till the end. He learned it through the years that fighting only make things worse.

He wants so badly to be somewhere else at that moment, who knows, maybe with HoSeok, who he started to treat as his first and only friend. The thought of the boy was the last one before the darkness takes over him.
