The boys wanted to invite SeokJin to have dinner with them after school, to get to know each other better and all. But it didn't work.
Right after the last bell, SeokJin weirdly quick packed his things and left the classroom, not even saying goodbye to his friends.
The remining six looked at each other, not understanding such sudden behavior, so unusual for the quiet and calm boy, who never was eager to go out of school, moreover go home.
Not really knowing what to do, they went after him, wanting to know the cause of that behavior, but catching up with Kim wasn't so easy. Because he already run down the stairs, towards his locker. His friends finally catched him as he was closing it, wearing his boots and jacket.
Hearing them approaching him, he looked at the group that questioned him with their eyes. He knew they would follow him u til he explained himself. So he sighed deeply and once more looked at the teens.
"I really need to go home quickly. I promise, I'll explain everything when the right time comes." He said, as he slowly backed towards the entrance. "I really want to tell you, but I can't. Not now." He added as he was close enough to just walk out quickly, knowing the won't be able to run after him in slippers, as there still was snow outside.
So he run. Run away from them.
He knew it wouldn't solve the problem and they would ask even more, but he had to do that.
He had to hide the truth for a little longer, for everyone's own good.
