SeokJin wasn't feeling well. After JeongGuk's words he lost his appetite and couldn't focus. He didn't know what the boy mentioned, but he was guessing that his so called family had hurt his brother. And as always, nobody looked at him like on their own person but like a part of 'thus' family. Would it always be like this? Maybe he really should stop deceiving himself and stay away from HoSeok. Now he's only causing problems to everyone.
With a quiet sigh he joined the rest of the boys, pretending to be okay, but now better than before he could sense the difference between him and the joyful group. He should go away and let them be. He didn't fit them. The feeling of discomfort was getting worse everytime he felt JeongGuk's sharp stare on him, as the boy watched him carefully, ready to attack, to humiliate him and make everyone believe that he was a bad person. The fear of that was eating him from inside.
Finally their food arrived and Kim was trying to eat even a tiny bir, to act naturally. Even if he wasn't talking that much he was trying to stay aware of what's happening around. Everything just to not worry HoSeok. Until Jung looked at him at some point.
"Everything's alright Jin? You don't look so good." He asked worriedly.
"If I have to be honest" SeokJin carefully looked for right words. "I'm not feeling so well. I think it'll be the best if I just do home. It was really nice to hang out with you but I wouldn't want to destroy the fun with my indisposition. " He said looking secretly at JeongGuk who had a straight face at that moment. "I'll take the rest of the food out to not waste it and I'll go." He smiled weakly and roses from his chair.
"Are you sure? Will you be okay going alone?" Asked HoSeok, when Jin took his plate and was ready to go to the counter.
"Yes, I'm sure." He replied, nodding and walking from the table.
He came back after a while, to take his scarf and coat, then he bid his goodbye and walked out, finally being able to breath out with relief, feeling his the stress he just experienced made him dizzy. He walked towards his home, while looking at the window, where he could see the group he just left, talking lively, seemingly happier than when he was with them.
Maybe that's how it should be. Maybe he's bound to be alone.
