There's some things JeongGuk regretted, more or less. One of them was what he did few days back. Why did he always had to be so ridiculously stubborn? Why can't he just for once listen to the others?
Maybe if he listened to HoSeok earlier, if he stopped looking on everythign through the things that happened to his family instead of judging someone based on people connected to them, maybe then he wouldn't feel like one of the causes of someone's wanting to leave this world. He felt like his words could've provoke SeokJin into doing so, everything because he was stupid and didn't look at the whole situation from HoSeok's perspective. He let the pain he felt deprived him from rational thinking and made him hurt someone who didn't deserve that.
And now he was standing in front of the closed door, listening to the conversation happening behind it, listening to the younger's story, that put him into even bigger guilt. He closed his eyes, tears of regret falling down his face.
It was true, Kim's were monsters, but he wasn't aware they could be even worse to a member of their family rather than to the strangers. I he thought about it, JungHyun put himself in this message by his own free will while SeokJin didn't had any choice.
Soon he was taken out of his train of thoughts as he heard the door opened. He raised his head to see a devastated HoSeok.
"How is he?" Jeon asked quietly.
"He fell asleep. He's exhausted." Jungle sighed. "Can we stay here tonight?"
"Of course. I'll make him something to eat, if he'll wake up he might be hungry. And water." The younger murmured, more like to himself than to HoSeom as he walked to the kitchen.
"I wonder what happened. I tried to contact him for several days, but he wasn't answering any calls or texts." The older sighed again. "And when he finally did, he said to not contact him."
"You know..." JeongGuk spoke unsure. "I'm afraid it might be my fault."
"What do you mean?" Surprised HoSeok asked.
