Trigger warning

Next days passed with not a single word from SeokJin. HoSeok and his friends never stopped trying to contact him, even though all of their attempts end in voice mail. The boy's phone was turned off, but it didn't stopped the stubborn group.

HoSeok lived with hope for any turning point, anything that would tell them something, anything that would calm them down, but HoSoek thought it would rather do opposite. However he didn't expect said turning point to appear at his door, one evening, not long before the end of winter break.

The boy was sitting in his room, reading book, trying to get his mind on something relaxing, even if just for a second, when he heard ringing of an entry phone. DaWon, being closer to is, as she was preparing tea in the kitchen, went to answer it, soon letting the calling person in. She stood by the door, waiting for the newcomer, while water was boiling in kitchen. As she heard knocking, DaWon smiled happily and opened the door, only to freeze in horror, at the sight before her.

"My God, what happened to you!?" She yelled, quickly showing the newcomer to go inside, while she closed the door. "HoSeok!" That time she yelled to summon her brother, as quickly as possible. "SeokJin is here!"

W

hile in the flat a sound of HoSeok tripping over his feets, probably falling, while wanting to reach them quickly, DaWon was closely observing the pale boy, on whose face and uncovered neck were slowly fading bruises that at some point surely were dark purple. Dried tears on his face left tracks on his dirty face that he nervously tried to whip with his shaking hands.

"SeokJin, what have they done to you?" DaWon looked away as her brother approached them with pure terror in his voice.

Not waiting any longer, the sibling took Kim to the living room, forgetting about the book and the water which already boiled and now was silently getting colder on the kitchen corner.
