HoSeok couldn't do anything to stop SeokJin from practically running out of school, everyday right after finishing classes. The letter didin't want to tell what was happening at his home, and it worried the older. But he really couldn't do anything as Jin clearly said he won't tell my anything.
Sure, he could insist, to get the truth out, but it isn't easy, especially while trying not to mess up your relationship with someone at the same time.
That's why he finally decided to give up with asking about his family and instead do as he was asked, be friendly. But this time the rest of the group didn't, kept asking and at some point it resulted with somethig.
Ant it wasn't what they wanted to be.
Because SeokJin started to avoid them. Right after the breaks start, he disappears on a new place that TaeHyung hadn't discovered yet, and he appeared in the classroom after next lesson start. With aching heart HoSeok finally managed to convince me them to let it go, and as it happened, SeokJin once more spent time with them. That was their weird routine. Day by day, class by class. Until final exams came.
A few intense days, when every student from the final year had to try themselves in a battle with countless tests consisting numerous questions, which they had to solve basing on the previous years of education. Algebra, foreign languages, literature or science, every one of those pages had to somehow evaluate the young people, that could be totally opposite of what would come out from it. Because not knowledge but wisdom makes people who they are in live. What gives you take knowledge of how to count the escape velocity when you don't know how to boil rice?
However it was SeokJin's routine reminded the same. He disappeared right after every exam, going back to school, not contacting anyone after schlol. It was like he vanished from the earth. HoSeok completely stopped asking, waiting patiently, even if it was hard for him to stay quiet whenever knew something bad was happening.
Until finally he got his answer.
