♡ FELI
I wake up from a smack to the face and let out a scream. "Ouch Fae! That hurts!" She smiles at me and I automatically smile back at her. She wishes me a good morning with her sweet little voice and I forget all about the way she woke me up.
"Morning my little princess. Did you sleep well?"
She nods and hops off the bed and starts dancing. Oh, how I love how energetic she is in the morning. NOT. I stumbled in around four last night, I only got three hours of sleep in. But I have to get my little princess ready for school. So here we go.
I swing my legs to the side and sit up on the edge of the bed. I stretch out and get up, grab my robe, and walk into the kitchen. Where Fae is already sitting in front of her bowl, waiting for me to put the cereal and milk in. I pour the fruit loops in and add the milk.
She starts stirring like crazy and I giggle with her. She has always done that, ever since she knew how to hold a spoon.
I run back to the bedroom and get dressed. I jump up to help the skinny jeans over my ass and breathe out when it finally shoots up to my waist. I grab a sleeveless top and put it on without bothering with a bra. That's the joy of fake tits. I save a lot of money on bras.
I walk over to Fae's side of the closet when I hear small feet on the wooden floors. She runs up to me and hugs my leg. "Mommy! Can I wear sinny jeans too? And a top like yours? Are you wearing a jacket too?"
I smile down at my little sunshine and pull her jeans, black crop top, and pink jacket from the closet. I lay them on the bed and say: "Wash up and brush your teeth first. Come!"
We walk into the bathroom together and she steps onto the little, pink stool to reach the sink. I grab her Rapunzel toothbrush and put a little bit of toothpaste on it, before handing it to her.
She hums while brushing her teeth and I do the same. This little girl is everything I need. She's always singing and dancing and you just can't feel bad when she's around.
I help her get dressed and she chooses my shoes for today. Pink, high heeled booties is what she wants me to wear. I put them on and walk into the kitchen to grab my keys and phone from the bowl on the kitchen table.
Fae points at my pink jacket to make sure I wear the one that matches hers. I smile at her and put the jacket on.
We walk out of the apartment together and I grab her hand, as soon as we're outside. I look around the calm surroundings with a smile on my face. Mrs. Antoine did really well when she hooked me up with this place. It's close to an excellent school that she helped Fae get into and the building is surrounded by a park. The perfect environment for a kid growing up.
We reach the school and I feel the stares of the other parents. I hate this moment so much and wish there was at least one person who had the decency to say good morning to me. I've stopped trying. Said so many good mornings since the first day I brought her here, but never got one in return. I try to keep my smile on my lips, but it's hard.
Fae has no clue thankfully, but I feel like trash every single time.
And that's when I hear it.
I was sure I was daydreaming but I swear I heard someone say good morning to me.
I look in the direction of where the voice was coming from and find Noah smiling at me, while he holds a little boy's hand. I mumble a good morning back at him and stare at him in shock.
The little boy yells: "Fae! Good Morning!"
I watch Fae's little face light up and she lets go of my hand to hug the boy. What the? I thought she was into Mister Rick, her teacher? And why don't I know about this boy she just hugged and looks at like she's in love? And what about Noah? Is the kid his son? The boy has the same messy, brown curls he has.
I blink a few times and I hear Noah chuckle. He speaks softly and says: "This must be weird to you, right? But the tension was getting to me, so I figured I'd say good morning to you. And I totally get why my nephew is happy to go to his new school after just one day, while he was refusing to go yesterday. She's beautiful."
And that's when I see Noah in a different light. I always thought he was the shy, nerdy but hot looking guy. But I guess he's not that shy at all. At least not in this situation, between all these judgy parents.
I smile at him and say: "Her name is Fae. She's my world."
He smiles back and says: "That's Nicky and he goes from angel to devil's spawn in three seconds flat. My sister just moved here and I offered to take Nicky to school because she basically had to drag him here yesterday. We couldn't figure out why he suddenly couldn't get here fast enough. Until I just saw him interact with Fae."
The bell rings and I watch Fae walk away from me and into the school building while holding Nicky's hand. She doesn't even look back to say goodbye and I giggle.
Noah looks at the parents staring at us, before bending down to give me a hug. He whispers: "All those stuck up parents should be ashamed of themselves. Show off your curves and kill them with kindness. Make the dads dream and the moms jealous."
I look into his eyes full of mischief and couldn't be more grateful. His words hit home and I take my jacket off. He's right, I should just be me and forget about those parents. I'm amazing at giving a show. I can give them a show here.
I wink at Noah and turn around to walk away. Making sure my hips sway and wishing every parent I run into a good day.
I smile all the way home and hum a song when I walk into the apartment. I put Fae's bowl in the dishwasher, make the bed and get the washing machine going. I lay down on the couch and turn on the tv to watch the morning news. I set my alarm before I drift off. I don't want to be late for my appointment at the salon.
♡
I wake up from my alarm and groan. That was a proper nap. Dreamless and relaxing. I sit up slowly and stretch out. I walk over to the mirror and pull my hair in a ponytail and touch up my make-up. I grab an apple, along with my keys and phone, and walk out of the door to meet my ladies.
I walk into the salon and find my girls sitting in the pedicure chairs and I chuckle. Ama looks annoyed and I know why. No one touches her feet. She's really ticklish and when we forced her to get a pedicure the first time because it's an amazing way to treat yourself, she kicked the lady massaging her feet.
In the face.
I drop down next to her, "You'll never guess who I ran into at school this morning."
She looks at me, "Well that's easy. It was Noah. He couldn't stop talking about you during our training session!"
I sense more annoyance than usual from her and think it's best to stay quiet for now.
♡♡♡
That was Feli's POV for you.
And Ama seems even more pissed than usual.I loved writing this chapter, to show a different side to Feli.
See you when I get inspired or when Rena makes me.
Or Conan. >.>♡
