♡ MONA
I look at Ama and Noah and have no clue what happened. That boy better not be the reason she was crying again. I clench my fists and Montell wraps his hand around it.
He whispers in my ear: "Calm down. I think it has something to do with Donté. He has Feli up in his penthouse right now."
I get even angrier and drag him into the empty bedroom and close the door behind us.
"What the fuck?! He is doing the nasty with Feli right now? I knew he was full of it! Bartenders always are. Damn smooth talkers. All that bullshit about supporting Ama to find out if she still had feelings for Noah. He wanted to get rid of her cause a better-looking snack presented itself! That's what!"
Montell crosses his arms and stares me down. I look up into his eyes and I can tell he's furious. He's the kind of man that stays quiet when he's really mad. He doesn't want to say something he regrets or add fuel to the fire. But the thing is, it pisses me off even more! I'm about to blow!
He pushes me up against the door and forcefully kisses me. When I try to speak, he kisses me again.
And again.
I sigh and give in, my anger subsiding as I look at him.

♡ MONTELL
Oh, that pisses me off. She's jumping to conclusions and badmouthing one of my friends. I get that she wants to blame someone, but I'm sure we don't know the full story.
I kiss Mona till she calms down, and take a deep breath before I speak.
"He is not doing the nasty with Feli. Feli had a traumatizing experience and he was there for her. Still is there for her. Him supporting Ama is not bullshit. It's who he is. He loves her and wants her to be happy, even if it's not with him. And another thing. He could have been with Feli all this time but chose Ama. He didn't have sex for a long time and chose to have it with Ama. So don't go jumping to conclusions! And don't turn him into the bad guy."
I give her a hug and she sighs, mumbling an apology.
I rub her back, "I know you go all mama bear when Ama is hurt. And I get why. I hate seeing her hurt too. That beautiful girl deserves so much better. Let's see if we can make it better somehow."
We walk into the living room and find Noah sitting on the floor next to the couch, head tilted back, his eyes closed while holding Ama's hand.
I walk into the kitchen and grab the last two beers from the fridge and the bottle of white wine Mona brought with her. I tap one of the beers against Noah's shoulder and he gratefully accepts it.
I nod towards the balcony and he gets up and follows me there. We wait for Mona to join us with a wineglass after she checked on Ama. Mona sits down on one of the chairs and breathes out slowly.
I pour the wine into her glass before looking at Noah and asking him what happened.

♡ FELI
I look at Donté and finish my story. "Within 24 hours I had a pink decorated room, an appointment with Madame Antoinette, a belly full of food, and a friend."
I smile thinking about the meeting with Montell's mom. That woman is a force. A kind-hearted, loving force.
"Madame Antoinette got me a doctor, a future job, an apartment close to work and school, and a spot at the local medical school on a fast-track, full-time 2-year course to become a Physician Assistant. She gave me everything I ever wished for. I will be grateful to her till the day I die."
