Thank you so much for reading, voting, commenting, and sharing. For supporting me on my writing journey. It's been a great experience so far.
I have a few people to thank by name. The first being my best friend Rena (oncetheywrite). She has been my rock ever since I met her. She has supported me, cheered me on, helped me come up with scenarios, and loaned me some of her characters; Carmon, Trent, Troy and Loraina, you can find them in The Screwed Series.
She is also the inspiration for Mona. Mona is basically Rena. It has been a great way for me to display our friendship and to even work through things as if we were the same age, living close to each other. And it was a way for me to give her the best man, the best love possible. Something I would do in real life, if I could.
Rena, I can't imagine my life without you. Thank you so much for loving me as I am, for being my best friend, for being there for me in every possible way. I love you. You have a place in my heart forever.
The second person I'd like to thank is Diego (LnDscripts). We have him to thank for basically every chapter after Donté entered the world of Curved Edges. I wanted a second love interest for Ama, to honor the Bridget Jones' Diary feel in here. But I was stuck on coming up with another male character. I put all my energy into Montell, Noah, and X and failed to come up with another one.
Diego created Donté for me, for Ama, for Curved Edges. And it opened up a door of inspiration in my brain that kept the ideas flowing. Donté fits in with the rest perfectly and was so much fun to write. I desperately wanted two like-able guys for Ama. Guys that would make it hard to choose.
He also helped me with Anthony. You might think that hunk of a Dutchman was my idea but I swear to you it wasn't. X wasn't the right man for Feli but I did want her to find love. True love. Diego came up with Anthony and once he gave me the character, I ran with it.
Thank you, Diego. For your help, for your support, and love. I will be forever grateful to you.
Next up for a thank you, is Sam (STDsam). She has been an amazing supporter and allowed me to use the forever wonderful Conan. I fell in love with him in her Killer Series and wanted to honor her and her talent in Curved Edges. And when I thought of a best friend for Noah, Conan seemed perfect.
And he was perfect. Their friendship has been one of the most fun things to write. And having the gentleman that is Conan in the story, provided a nice balance I think. So thank you Sam, for your talent, for Conan and Laura, for your friendship. You have a very special place in my heart for personal reasons I will not explain here. We know, that's enough.
I borrowed a few other characters in here, Theresa, Chris, and even the bar Joe's were borrowed from Demi (mysticgirlzx), you can find all of them in Pushing The Limits. I borrowed Jake from Lauren (laurenwolfe12), find him in The Fall Apart and lastly I borrowed Toren from Jescie (jesciehall), you can find him in the Players series. Thank you for letting me use your characters in my book.
Thank you, reader. Again. For showing this book love.
It has been a wonderful journey and I'm left with a lot of fond memories.
See you in my other books or in yours.
And maybe there will be more chapters in here when we reach certain milestones. >.>
Love, Hankie.
