She sinks onto the desk and runs her shaky hands through her hair. I wrap my arm around her and kiss the top of her head. She looks up at me and says: "Thank you so so much. I don't know what I would have done without you. You're a lifesaver."

I smile and say: "Anything for you. But you would have been fine without me. Those few minutes on the phone where you talked me through it showed me exactly how well informed you are and how you understand it all perfectly. Those assholes just believe me easier than they would believe you. Not fair at all but true."

I hug her and take a picture of the whiteboard behind her.

I smile when I hear her bossy voice say: "Work that out for me. In detail. Check the numbers three times and have it on my desk by the end of the week."

This girl is something else. I bow to her, making her giggle.

I look into her green eyes, where the storm has calmed, and ask: "Lunch?"

She tells me she's meeting Mona and I can't fight the feeling of horror coming over me. Ama laughs, knowing all too well how much I despise kids. Hyperactive, messy, and nosy little devils. And the ones Mona takes care of are way too smart and posh on top of it.

I shudder and ask: "Dinner then?" She nods and I ask: "So do I have to wine and dine you like the goddess you are or are you in the mood for pizza?"

She grins and says: "If you throw the wine in with the pizza, then definitely pizza. I could use a relaxed meal."

"Good. Cause I want to talk to you about something personal. Let me know when you're done, I'll have my driver pick you up." She gives me a peck on my cheek and walks me over to the elevator.

The doors open and out comes her dad, looking all stressed and messy. I chuckle at the sight and step into the elevator. I turn to her and say: "Thank you for the opportunity Miss Sendringham. I'll have the proposal on your desk by the end of the week."

The doors close just slow enough for me to catch her dad's surprised look. Ha, score. He doesn't even know who I am, because he just doesn't care about her personal life. I don't think he cares about her at all, but according to Ama, he loves her. Yeah right. Love is not supposed to be that way. She gets more love from my dad than her own.

I walk out of the building and onto the sidewalk, where my driver is already opening the door for me. I get in the backseat and switch my phone back on. 15 missed calls and a heap of messages. I was supposed to be in a meeting twenty minutes ago, but I don't care. I am good enough at my job to have a lot of wiggle room. I'm about to call my assistant when my phone rings.

I see it's Noah and pick up. He immediately asks: "Did you talk to her?" He sounds stressed and I can't blame him. Apparently, Ama walked out without a word after their first session. But I couldn't ask her about it while we were winging the meeting with the big guns of her dad's company.

"I saw her, talked to her. But not about you or this morning. I had to help her out with some business stuff, which made me late for my own meeting. So I can't really talk right now Noah. I'm having dinner with her tonight. I'll ask her about it then. Just be patient."

I hear him huff and I know he's annoyed.

"Bro, I get it. But it couldn't be helped this morning. Talk to you later."

I hang up and run into the office building.

I wink at the two girls behind the reception desk and I get a giggle in return. I smirk and think about bending them both over that reception desk. Oh Buddha, that makes my heart beat faster. And boosts my confidence even more.

Here we go, conference room 3. I open the door with a bang and make sure everyone knows I'm here.

My boss looks annoyed and relieved at the same time and invites me over to the head of the table. That's right asshole, be relieved because we both know you have no fucking clue what you're doing. You just sign the papers. I tap the laptop connected to the overhead projector and present the best possible plan for our new clients.

They look at me with stars in their eyes and I know they are going to sign. I smirk and call my assistant to deliver the paperwork. He walks in, wearing a light blue suit with a bright pink tie and pocket square. He hands the client the contract with a flamboyant gesture and his smile is so bright you'd think he's starring in a toothpaste commercial.

He's gay as fuck, but the best assistant I ever had. I went through a line of young girls who were either too nervous to speak or too eager to get my dick inside of them. I can't have that at work. I need someone who gets shit done before I ask them. Someone who's even more confident than I am. And I found it in Cedric.

I walk out of the room, one-hundred percent sure my boss is satisfied, and leave him to take care of the administrative side. I walk into my office, where Cedric is already waiting for me. I take my blazer off and drape it over the back of the chair. I roll up my sleeves and smell the coffee Cedric has gotten me. I look up at him and nod, sipping my double espresso.

Cedric talks me through my schedule and points out some important e-mails waiting for me. I thank him for his hard work and start up my computer. I check my phone and start calling back the ones I missed while I was helping Ama. I work through all of them, before checking my e-mails. I get so into it that I get startled when Cedric walks in with a plate of sandwiches.

"Boss it's lunchtime. I got you these. I'm out for lunch. See you when I get back." Have I told you he's the best already? He really is. He sashays out of my office and I grab a sandwich. I take a bite and see my phone flash from the corner of my eye. I look at it and see it's Mona. I normally don't respond to anything while eating lunch, but I always have time for my sister.

I open the message and read it with a smile.

Thanks for coming through for Ama. She's raving about you. I'm assuming you want to talk to her about Noah and her first training with him over dinner. She loved the training session. In her words: he didn't treat her like a girl. But she thinks Noah thinks she's a slut, fat, and not athletic. And Conan and some other guy told her that the type of woman he goes for is the opposite of what she looks like.

On top of that, she ran into two blonde, skinny bitches talking about missing Noah's hands on their body. And when Ama walked out they hurt her by saying she was ugly and should eat less first, before coming to the gym. So yeah good luck bro. I'm not getting anywhere, to be honest.

But thanks again for helping her.

Love M
