What was the hardest to write?
I think the emotional parts during the retreat. Especially the scene with Angel. When Ama ends up crying on the beach.

What made you want to write such an epic story?
It started as a writing exercise mostly. But then what do you write about? I was disappointed about the stories I could find about curvy women. I was disappointed with all those stereotypical books. With all these authors writing the same thing. So I figured instead of complaining, I'd write it myself. I never imagined it turning out like this. Not in a million years. And reading back on it I sometimes can't believe I wrote this. It was a lot of factors coming together to create this book. I'm starting to believe I was meant to write it.
