Your POV

I wasn't usually into sappy love movies but tonight Harry came over and insisted on watching movies with Colin and I. Anne came over for dinner then had to leave for work, leaving Harry, Colin, and I to ourselves. I looked over at the baby monitor and made sure Colin was ok. I had put him to bed a while ago and was keeping very good tabs on him. I rolled my eyes when the next movie came on, I looked down at Harry who had the cutest look on his face.

"Why are we watching Lady and the Tramp", I laughed.

"When was the last time you actually saw this movie", he asked genuinely.

"I think when I was five", I thought.

"Exactly, it's a classic and doesn't get old. So enjoy", he sang while getting comfortable again and glued his eyes to the TV.

We were towards the end of the movie and I had forgotten for just a dumb kids movie how much deep we it was. It was like Harry and I, Harry was the tramp who couldn't let anyone in. I was the lady, only I didn't have a fluffy lifestyle. I was hesitant to let him in and scared he would hurt me. I knew if he wanted a future we could work out but again that was up to him. I didn't want to push him since his failed engagement wit Hazel and mine with Ben.

"You ok", I was snapped out of my thoughts when Harry wiggled from my hold and sat up next to me.

"Do you ink Lady and the Tramp knew they were going to fall in love with each other or did it just happen", he asked.

"They probably realized that they loved each other after the dust settled and realized they couldn't live without each other", I shrugged wondering why he had asked a really weird question.

"Besides Harry, dogs can't get married", I laughed and shook my head.

"You're right, but we can".
My head snapped to him as he gave me a sheepish smile and reached into his pocket and pulled out a red box. I gasped, my hand coming over my mouth in shock as a grin spread over his lips. I started to cry when he opened it and he showed me the ring.

"Harry", I croaked trying to will myself not to cry.

"I know this is quick and sudden, but I just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me. We don't have to get married tomorrow or in a year but I just wanted to let you know that I'm willing to wait cause I want to spend the rest of my life with you", he plucked the ring from the box and slipped it on my finger

I stared at the huge diamond and didn't know what to say, I had never in my life thought I would be engaged again. Tears welled up into my eyes as I was filled with happy thoughts about Harry and our future.

"Are you ok love", he asked me hesitantly.

"Yes, I just....I can't believe you want to marry me", I looked up at him with big eyes.

"Why wouldn't I, you're everything I ever wanted", he said to me. Looking deep in my eyes.

I didn't flinch when Harry cupped my face and brought my lips to his, his intoxicating mouth worked against mine as I savored the flavor of them. He drove me absolutely wild and I couldn't believe I would be exchanging vows with him and calling him my husband.

"I can't believe we're going to be a family", I sniffled.

"Me neither baby, but I can tell you I've never been this happy before", he smiled at me.

"I love you", I hugged him.

"Love you baby", he squeezed me tight.
