Harry's POV
I could only watch as the cab zoomed away with her in the back seat, the angel that nearly brought me to my knees left me. I didn't blame her though, I was an idiot that always fucked shit up. I didn't know how to handle good things that came my way, I was always scared they were going to abandoned me. I guess that came from my father leaving my mother and I, but that was something my therapist told me. I never shared that with anyone and I tried to handle things like that on my own but with her it was different. She made me feel things that I'd never thought I feel before. Turning on my heel and went back inside to grab my coat so I could leave, I thought about going back to her home to try and explain to her what had happened between Vanessa and I but it was probably better to give her space.
"Oh good you came back", Vanessa purred.
"Goodbye Vanessa", I pushed past her.
"What about us", Vanessa question.
"There is no us and there will never be an us", I snapped.
"Don't be like that, what about before", she whined stroking my arm.
"All I did was fuck you when I was bored", I shrugged.
Your an asshole", Vanessa muttered walking past me.
"Haven't changed babe", I walked to the bar to get a drink or several.
"Hey can I get a brandy", I ordered.
"Coming up sir", he nodded.
A couple of brandy's later I was finally feeling ok with my fuck ups and decided to go home and sleep the rest off. I could still see her face in my head and I hated it, I hated that she had this effect on me. No girl never had an effect on me, I didn't know what I could do to get her out of there. Placing a bill on the bar counter I turned to leave when someone stopped me.
"Hello there Harold, where's your girl".
