CHAPTER 44

JORDAN'S P.O.V

After one week saya membenarkan Holland to be discharged. Bella's parents masih di KL untuk menjaga Holland dan tolong tengok-tengok Thania and Jojie. Well, that's what Bella cakaplah.

-Flashback-

The last day Holland in the hospital, I passed the discharge letter to Bella's dad. Bella ada class hari tu. Holland boleh berdiri juga, bertuahlah yang bekalan darah di hospital enough for Holland. He'll heal fast, masih muda lagi bah Holland ni, so the healing process will be fast juga.

"You only need a lot of rest, Hol." Saya bilang. "The torn tissues will heal fast."

"Thanks, Jordan." Holland fist bumped me.

"Thanks so much, Jordan." Suara lembut Thania thanking me again.

"Jordan." Daddy Bella bersuara.

"Yes, uncle?" Saya menyahut.

"You should come to Holland's house this Sunday." Daddy Bella bilang. "We are planning a small surprise for Bella, it's her birthday."

"Sure, uncle. I'll be there." Saya tersenyum gembira.

Okay. Saya pun sedang berfikir-fikir juga what to do for Bella's birthday sejak beberapa hari lepas. I tthought of a romantic candlelight dinner, tapi macam so cliché. Nasib Bella's family solved half of my worries.

Since Bella is having class the whole day and promised to dine with her family, I spent the half of my day alone. Sunyi saya rasa tanpa Bella, saya mahu teruskan bertugas pun, saya kena sound sudah oleh Datuk Nelson to get some rest. Datuk actually gave me a whole week's off. Apa angin Datuk ni tetiba dia kasi saya cuti tanpa saya request? Memaksa lagi tu saya go on leave. Dia mahu buang kerja sayakah ni?

Sunday. Birthday. Bella Saya dial number Shawn.

"Hey, doctor." Saya menyapa as soon as Shawn answered my call.

"Hey, doctor yourself." Shawn ketawa.

"Jom." Saya bilang.

"Hauskah?" Shawn tanya saya.

"No, no. Bukan mahu logop." Saya bilang. "Kasi kawan saya to Pavi."

"Uiseh!" Shawn teruja. "Untuk apa?"

"Ada saya mau beli..." saya bagitahu Shawn...

"Like what yang kau mahu beli?" Curious betul suara si Shawn.

"Some new clothes." Saya bilang. "Bah, cepatlah. I pick you up."

Lama sudah semua baju-baju saya, I need new clothes before Bella's surprise birthday.

At Pavillion KL. It was 4 hours of shopping. Consider cepat juga bah tu with a total spending of beribu juga. Siap saja I paid for my Versace tee, saya and Shawn headed to Ben's, one of Pavillion's most popular dining outlets.

"May I take your order, sirs?" A waitress came up to our table.

"One Moroccan Chicken Salad and a pint of Somersby." I pointed at my orders in the menu.

"Sir?" The waitress turned to Shawn.

"Traditional Mac & Cheese and an Asahi." Shawn bilang. "Make it 2 Asahis."

"Okay, sir. I'll repeat your orders." Tu waitress bilang.

"It's okay, babe, we trust you." Sempat lagi Shawn main mata sama tu waitress sampai termerah muka tu waitress.
