SHAWN'S P.O.V

"BELLA!" Saya teriak dengan cemas bila saya nampak Bella diusung full of blood in a stretcher. "BELLA! Hang on!"

"Bella, I'm Dr. Katie." Dr. Katie trying to keep Bella conscious "Stay with us, breathe."

Dr. Katie is the acting Head of Cardiothoracic & General Surgeon berikutan kehilangan Jordan.

"SHAWN!" Dr. Katie kedengaran sangat cemas. "Get her on oxygen! She's losing a lot of blood!"

"Aite, Kate." Cepat-cepat saya mengarahkan Nurse Linah to prepare the support for Bella.

Bila Bella terlantar on the operation bed, Katie bersuara.

"We need to do D&C surgery, Shawn."

"Huh? Why?" Blur saya.

"Do the ultrasound now! She's having a miscarriage." Dr. Katie suruh scan perut Bella, but dia juga yang buat sendiri. "The embryo is 8 weeks."

"Will her baby survive?" Saya tanya, kerisauan.

At that time Bella's already bleeding excessively, berkumpal-kumpal darah dia keluar. We tried to stop the bleeding.

"No, she just lost her baby." Sedih suara Katie.

At Bella's ward a few hours selepas Bella's brother left, saya masuk balik to Bella's ward. Saya sat next to her bed. Saya tidak tahu kenapa tergerak hati saya tiba-tiba saya menyentuh jari-jari Bella dengan lembut, but Bella macam terkena api, cepat dia tarik tangan dia. She looked at me with blank eyes.

"Where's Jordan, Bella?" Saya tanya. Tiada rasa simpatikah saya tu? Terus-terus tanya direct. Bella berpaling muka. I can see air mata dia mengalir di pipi.

Honestly, saya tidak tahu Jordan di mana. He's not answering his calls or whatsapp. Biarlah tu saya terfikir, pandailah Jordan timbul in his own time. Begini juga dia time his break up sama Debbie. Dia ambil 2 weeks cuti to cool himself. What makes any difference with Bella, kan?

"Bella." Saya mengusap rambut Bella.

"Don't touch me!" Garang suara Bella. She'll cool down juga lama-lama.

I just sat there until Bella tertidur, baru saya berani mengusap jari-jemari Bella. I looked at her sleeping face. She's very beautiful. When did I start liking her? At the bar? Or when I saw her right in front of Jordan's door? Jordan's so lucky. I looked at the diamond ring on her finger, dia masih pakai cincin yang Jordan bought for her. Did he really proposed to her? Bila lagi Jordan melamar Bella?

Saya ingat hari Jordan bought the ring at Tiffany & Co. It was the day Jordan bawa saya shopping di Pavillion. I don't know why I just didn't feel happy for him walaupun he's my bestfriend and how I wished deep down inside that dorang tidak akan go further than just being in a relationship.

Saya berharap betul yang Jordan bought the RM18k diamond ring for Bella was just a gift and it meant nothing more. Memang buduh lah bah saya berharap begitu kan? Adakah lelaki yang akan beli cincin begitu mahal tanpa melamar?

Saya ter-flashback my last conversation with Jordan.

"So you think Bella's the one?" saya tanya selamba.

"No, bro. I don't think she's the one." Jordan stopped eating. "I know she's the one."

But then why did he left her? Ah, it's his business lah kenapa he left her. What can I do, right? Maybe memang dorang bukan jodoh, and God paved the way for me untuk memikat Bella.
