HOLLAND'S P.O.V

After mengetahui keadaan sebenar yang menimpa Jordan from Ronald's investigation, I just could not contain my sadness for him. His father admitted to mental hospital after his mother died of breast cancer and his brother died in a plane crash 3 days later. He buried both his mom and his brother at the same time, and he's losing Bella to Shawn.

About Bella's miscarriage, kami tidak berani bagitahu dia. I think 2 deaths of someone so close to him is enough to make him go crazy, but he held on strong and stood by his dad. I'm so proud of him. How can I ever feel anything bad towards him? The man that saved my life when I was shot. Saya berhutang nyawa dengan Jordan, so I won't judge him harshly tanpa investigate what really happened.

Masa saya suruh Sydney cari Jordan dengan bantuan Ronald pun, saya tidak pernah terasa dendam towards Jordan. Marah yes, but more on I want to find out why. Did he really leave? Or anything bad happened to him? Saya ter-imagine sudah yang dia mati accident kah atau apa. But apa yang Jordan pikul adalah lebih berat dari death itself.

At Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang, after finally jumpa Jordan and we spent time with him and his dad, saya and Sydney pun kena balik sudah. Saya ada whatsapp dad yang we found Jordan sudah. Dad tidak kesabaran betul mau jumpa Jordan. Balik-balik dia call, saya tidak jawab sebab masih dengan Jordan and his dad. Siaplah saya kena marah ni.

"Jordan." Jordan tengok saya. "It's time to come home."

"My dad" Jordan bilang.

"I mean come back home to our house here in KK. Meet mom and dad. They are asking for you." Dad lah yang tidak habis-habis minta explanation dari saya sejak di airport lagi. Manalah saya tahu apa jadi sama Jordan masa tu.

"I... I'm not... ready, Hol." Nervous suara Jordan.

"You need to be ready." Berkerut dahi saya memikirkan Shawn and Bella getting engaged.

"Come home, bro." Sydney memujuk Jordan.

"Bella's here in KK." Ugh, Sydney! Bila Jordan masih berkeras kerana ketakutan, Sydney

menambah lagi garam pada luka. "And Shawn is here."

"SYD." Saya menjeling tajam ke arah Sydney. Ni budak tidak pandai jaga perasaan orang oh.

"Yeps, Shawn memang orang KK." Jordan masih blur.

"Sunday, I'll pick you up." Sydney bilang.

"I don't think-" Masih Jordan membantah.

"Shawn and Bella's getting engaged, Jordan." Lemparan kata-kata Sydney made Jordan sangat terkejut. Kau ingat kau saja terkejut, bro? Kami pun bah.

"You know what?" Sydney yang always nakal. "I think we should sing a number together. Lama sudah we tidak duet, let's bring back the good old days!" Sydney tengok saya. "What say you, Hol?"

"GAME ON." And I smiled a sinister smile.

Sebelum kami masuk kereta kami masing-masing, I hugged Jordan again.

"Thank you so much, Hol, Syd." Tersekat-sekat suara Jordan.

"You lost one brother, Jordan." Saya bilang. "But you gained four." He gained four brothers in us. Me, Sydney, Chester and London. He is our brother from day one.

And I will make sure that Bella will never marry Shawn.

Back at home, saya dan Sydney sampai rumah sama-sama. Dad pusing-pusing sana ruang tamu.
