JORDAN'S P.O.V

"Bae." I heard Bella whispered. "Bae."

"Mmm?" I opened my eyes slowly. The morning vision in front of me. "Beautiful."

"Your phone balik-balik vibrate. It might be a call." Risau bah my Bella.

"Mmmmm." Saya stretched badan saya. "I want us to be just like this."

"Look at your phone first, bae." Bella memujuk saya.

I reached for my handphone under my pillow dan tengok the screen. DADDY calling. Hmmm, jarang daddy call saya. Biasanya Mom yang akan call me and let daddy talk to me. I slide the answer button on my handphone. Tidak sempat saya mahu cakap 'Hi Dad'.

"Jordy!" Suara daddy cemas. "Since last night daddy tried to call you. Jordy, boy, come home, your mom is sick. Mummy is dying, boy."

"What?" Saya terkejut. Tapi saya masih tidak boleh mencerna kata-kata dad. Mom is sick? Dying?

"Yes, mom is very sick. It's stage 4. Breast cancer." Daddy teresak-esak at the end of the line.

"No." I whispered. No, no, no, no, no! Not my mom!

"It's time to come home, boy." Dalam tangisan daddy pujuk saya pulang.

Saya ended the call with dad dan cuba untuk menahan air mata saya.

"Sweetheart." I kissed Bella's hair.

"Mmm?" her sweet voice.

"We need to go." I know I have to go back to KK alone. Kalau boleh saya mahu bawa Bella with me but it's not the right time.

In front of Holland's gate, saya menatap wajah Bella. I'm going to miss her so much when I'm in KK. Once mom gets better, I will come back and bring Bella back to KK to introduce to mom and dad their future daughter-in-law. Mom will be so ecstatic. Lama sudah mummy tunggu-tunggu saya mahu kahwin so that she'll get cucu. Your wish is my command, mom.

"I love you, Bella." I kissed Bella deeply. "Promise me."

"I promise." Cepat saja my sweetheart promise, membuatkan saya tersenyum saya.

"Wait for me." It'll only be one or two weeks.

"I'll wait for you, bae. Until the world ends." Bella ketawa kecil.

"Promise?" Makin ketat saya peluk Bella.

"Promise." I'm going to miss your sweet smile, baby.

I drove off. Saya pulang to HK Heights, just to park my car and saya ordered GRAB to KLIA2. Saya belum beli ticket lagi, so I'll just grab whatever flight the earliest. Dalam 40 minit saya sampai KLIA2. No luggage, no backpack, only my handphone, cigarettes, wallet and car keys. Saya melangkah laju menuju ke kaunter ticketing.

"Hi, sir, may I help you?" Tu staff Airasia tanya saya.

"What's the next flight to KK?" Saya tanya.

"The next available flight is at 12.35pm, sir." Saya tengok jam tangan saya, it's 9.05am.

"Earlier than that?" Saya tanya lagi.

"9.25am is boarding now. 10.05am the flight is full." Dia explained.

"Okay, get me the 12.35pm flight." Saya bilang. Saya bagi dia IC saya.
