"we need to go elena" he grabs my hand and pulls me outside, making me tumble to the floor
"don't kill her, joey please!" i cry
"you're about to die elena, let's go!" joey grabs me
"don't shoot her, joey. please" i start choking for air
joey throws me in the car and grabs my jaw, "i need to kill her"
"no joey! please" i scream
"i'm sorry babe" he kisses me
"joey!" i cry, "if you kill her i'm leaving. i'll never talk to you again"
"you'll what?" joey looks at me, aiming the gun to her
"i'll never talk to you! i-if you kill her joey it's over for us"
and with that, he shoots her. my mother
she falls to the floor and i scream. i run to her side and pick her lifeless body
i look at joey as he drops the gun to the floor. i cant believe him
"mom wake up" i hold her beautiful face in my hand, "mom!"
joey picks me up, "joey!" i look at my mother
"i'm not done elena" joey throws me inside the pool and i swim to the surface
he grabs my wrist and then smiles, "bye elena" he shoves my head in the water
"elena"
i open my eyes and see ethan standing above me, "are you okay?"
i sit up from my bed, "yes"
"you were screaming your moms name" he sits down next to me, i flinch when he touches my thigh
i look at ethan and just want to grab a knife a slit his throat. i hate him so much
"ethan" i clear my throat
"yes?"
"do you know giovanni?" i ask
he looks away from my eyes, "no i don't, why?"
"nothing, um can you bring me some water? i'm not feeling so good"
he nods and leaves the room. i lay back and take a deep breath. i feel sick, like gross and disgusting
i stand from my bed and look at the floor. my room is still a mess, i bend down and pick up all my clothes and shove them in the corner of my room
ethan comes back with the water, i take it from his hand and stare at it. what if he poisoned me? does water always look like this or am i overreacting?
ethan furrows his brows when he looks at me staring at the water. i look up at him and slowly drink the water
"do you want any food?" he ask
"yes, i'm craving chocolate. can you make some chocolate pancakes? or maybe chocolate covered strawberries? that sounds amazing right now, maybe even some chocolate milk"
he chuckles, "wow you really like chocolate don't you?"
i smile, "yea? madison has a whole cabinet of chocolate goodies"
"got it. i'll make some right now" he walks out my room and i follow behind him
"is madison home?" i ask ethan
"no, she went to work. she said she'll come back later tonight, i'm not sure when though" ethan answers
i sit down on the couch and turn the tv on. the stupid movie madison has been watching for a week straight is playing
