lexis pov
i sit down on the chair and watch elena eat apple sauce on the hospital bed
the doctors haven't told me anything yet to why she wasn't feeling well. i know joey is in the car dying to come in here and be with her
elena finishes her apple sauce and looks at me, "who are you" she ask me, "you're always with joey... are you dating him?"
"oh no" i almost laugh, "we're just friends"
the door opens and her eyes widen, making me look at the door and see ethan
i stand from the chair and walk towards him, "you should really leave" i whisper
"i just want to see her" he grabs my arm
"please ethan, its not a good time right now" i tell him, "leave right now or i'm going to call the police"
"what are they going to do? i just want to see her lexi please" his face is covered in bruises
"let him come in" elena says
i turn around to look at her, "no elena, he can't come in"
"why not?" she frowns
"move lexi" ethan pushes me aside
the doctor walks in, "only one visitor at a time"
"ethan leave" i say
"no, ethan you stay. you can leave" elena says to me, the doctor lowers his eyes at me
"no i can't, ethan you need to leave joey will be mad at you" i warm him then look at elena, "joey wouldnt like him here"
"joeys always mad at me and he's not here right now so nothing can stop me from seeing her" ethan walks towards the bed where elena is
"ethan no! you can't be here"
"now!" the doctor yells at us
"i know him" elena tells me, "you can leave us alone" she smiles at me
i'm pulled out by one of the police officers that are standing by her door, "he's dangerous" i tell the cop as he closes the door
"we checked his record, he's fine"
elenas pov
i bite my bottom lip when ethan walks towards me. my heart starts racing, i feel like i've known him my whole life
all i know for now is that i love him, a lot
he sits down on the bed and holds my face, "what happened?"
"i don't know, i just started throwing up and felt like i was about to die" i answer him
his brows furrow, "are you feeling any better now? i can bring you some food"
"i'm feeling much better, i just had some apple sauce and water which didn't taste so good"
he smiles and my heart starts racing even more, the monitor starts beeping and i forget that he can see how fast my heart is racing
i start to blush in embarrassment and he holds my hand, "a little excited aren't you?"
i nod, "really excited actually"
i'm so comfortable with him around. probably because he's the only person my mind can remember. joey never told me anything about him... why?
i notice ethans face change and his hand starts to sweat, he looks around the room like he's trying to look for something
