diana's pov

it's been a day and lexi hasn't came back. we're all worried for her safety and why she hasn't answered any of our messages.

leo, david, carter, and liam have been out searching for her, they think she might be dead. even though i don't like elena it upsets me that theyre willing to look for lexi but not elena.

they've already given up on elena, they are positive that she's dead and as for joey, they don't know where he is

we got 3 hotel rooms right next to each other and are booking flights to leave new york soon. carter told me to stay in the main room to take care of the kids.

it surprises me that joey has kids. he was just some guy i met out the hotel who offered to buy me food, if he knew who i was this entire time why would he hide it?

jay and jeremiah walk out their rooms and come to the kitchen, little sophia sitting on the kitchen island. this hotel room is surprisingly big considering we got the suit with a kitchen, 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room.

i made lil soph some breakfast this morning. she asked for toast and butter, but after seeing the eating schedule giovanni had for them, i made her some i
eggs and pancakes too.

considering we have two sophias in the house we decided to call joeys sister by sophia and his daughter by lil soph, jeremiah came up with it.

sophia has been locked in her room for the past day. i think she's still trying to comprehend what has happened. she doesn't know much about the whole gang and after seeing elena die next to her, i think she may be traumatized.

i walk over to the kitchen and see lil soph with the biggest smile on her face looking at me

"what?" her contagious smile makes me smile

"diana is a pretty name" she says

"thank you, and so is sophia"

she giggles. jay and lil soph have told us that they weren't abused at all. they only had 2 meals a day and shared the same room. she said the worst thing about all of it was that they had a certain bed time

i'm just glad that she's comfortable with us right now even though she met me a couple hours ago

and for jay and jeremiah, they seem alright. jeremiah doesn't know about his mom yet, none of the kids do. it breaks my heart that kids are even involved in this kind of life style.

did they really think it was a good idea to bring a child into their gang related world? i don't know how they managed to do it but good job to them.

michael has been consistently messaging us. he's mad that we haven't found giovanni and even more mad that we didn't find elena or joey. no one has told him that elena has dead yet, we're scared of what he might do.

my only task was to help lexi and find the kids. but as for leo and david, they had to keep elena safe. i don't know what michaels punishments are but hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds.

after 5 hours of the boys being gone the door finally opens, leo was the first to walk in, "jay, soph, jeremiah, go to your rooms now"

they all leave the kitchen and walk back to their rooms. leo turns around and brings in lexi who was unconscious. david was holding her bridal style and bringing her to the couch

her face had some scratches and her blood is now dried up on her skin. but overall she doesn't look terrible compared to some of us.
